Day 1

You'll be picked up at 8.00 am from your hotel in the morning and driven north of Nairobi, passing through the Equator and the majestic Mount Kenya, en-route to the open savannah of Samburu National Reserve. Lunch is taken en-route. You'll arrive in the afternoon whereby you will check in to Samburu Sentrim camp, the property is on the banks of Ewaso Nyiro river offering scenic views of wildlife as they quench their thirst. After a short resting time, you will proceed for a late afternoon game drive after the sun go down. All meals and your overnight stay are at Samburu Sentrim Camp or equivalent.

Spend the full day exploring the park. The highlights of Samburu National Reserve is the spectacular scenic beauty, rivers and forests. It is an area where the local people have a rich and colorful heritage. Therefore, a visit to the village of the Samburu community in the late afternoon is optional. Dinner and your overnight are in Samburu Sentrim Camp or equivalent.

Day 3

Samburu National Reserve - Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart Samburu National Reserve with game viewing en-route. Pass via Thompson Falls, where you will take lunch and drive to the Great Rift Valley. You'll be arriving in the late afternoon for a restful evening or you can choose to have an evening walk in town. Dinner and your overnight stay are in Hill court Resort or equivalent.

Day 4

Lake Nakuru National Park - Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, proceed for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru National Park is known for its huge concentration of birdlife, the white and black rhinos and a number of wild animals.
After lunch, depart Nakuru for Masai Mara arriving late in the evening. The evening is spent at your leisure.
Dinner and your overnight stay are in AA Lodge or similar.

Day 5

Full Time in the Spotted Plains

Full Time in the Spotted Plains

After breakfast with a picnic lunch which is taken at the hippo's pool by the Mara River, spend the full day exploring this unique park which really forms the northern part of the famous Serengeti National Park in search of plain game animals. Its is here that the 7th Wonder of the World (wilderbeest migration) takes place every year.
Later in the late afternoon, visit a Maasai Village to learn about their culture and enjoy their dances. The visit is optional. Meals and your overnight stay are in AA Lodge Mara or similar.

At approximately 4:00 pm, you will be dropped off at the airport to catch your flight or at your city hotel where the safari ends.
