Depart Kampala City For Kibale National Park
Early in the morning after breakfast, start your journey to Kibale National Park past Mubende and Fort Portal. This journey is composition of scenic views of the Rwenzori Mountains, large tea estates, the Toro Palace and the people of Fort Portal in Western Uganda and many more attractions to suit your interest.
Arrive at your lodge in Kibale National Park and stay at leisure so as to rejuvenate from the long journey; while at leisure you might decide to take a sundowner walk.
Located in southern Uganda, Kibale Forest National Park is said to be home to the highest density of primates in Africa. When you’re not searching for monkeys there are over 300 bird species and an incredible 250 species of butterfly to keep you busy. Visitors can look forward to chimpanzee tracking, birding tours and guided nature walks.

Adventure in The Primate Capital of the World
At 795 sq km, this is home to over 351 tree species some over 200 years old, famous for 13 primate species including Chimpanzees, 70 mammals & over 375 bird species. In the morning, start off the day with breakfast and get ready for the day’s exciting activities.
First thing, you will go for Chimpanzee tracking combined with an all green forest walk where you will see various bird species (great blue turaco), and more primates like the black and white colobus monkey, you will also see more animals to include bushbucks and mongoose.
Kibale Forest Chimp Tracking
The most favourite of Kibale’s walks embarks on from the Kanyanchu Visitor centre at 08.00 & 15.00 and lasts 2 to 3 hours. Chimpanzee are the most sought after primate by visitors, but you should look out for the black & white colobus, red tailed monkey or the grey cheeked Mangabey. This walk is for 6 people in a group.

Buffalo Safari Lodge, Southern Queen Elizabeth National Park
Queen Elizabeth National Park is famous for diverse ecosystems which include sprawling Savannah, shady humid forests, sparkling lakes, wetlands and amazing craters. After your breakfast enjoy a leisurely morning, and later on start off your journey to ‘’a medley of wonders’’. On arrival after a stopover at the equator, you will check into your lodge for lunch, refreshment and leisure. In the evening go for a Dusk Game Drive; and get a chance to see animals like bushbucks, elephants, warthogs, hippos and more. Thereafter, return to your lodge for a dinner.

Explore Queen Elizabeth National Park
Start off the day with a tasty breakfast and then get deeper into the highlights of this amazing park. Dawn Game Drive; explore the park’s flora and fauna to include elusive bird species and a wide variety of animals like elephants, buffaloes, hippos, impalas, waterbucks, Kobs, warthogs and many more.
Lunch cruise; this is the main activity after lunch where you will spot a number of birds like; the African fish eagle, pelicans, flamingos, Hammerkop, egrets, the African fin foot and many more, together with animals like hippos, buffalos, crocodiles, waterbucks and more. This boat cruise is spiced up with stunning views of the Mweya peninsular and a local fishing village along the lake shores.
Visit Mweya Museum; after the boat cruise, with this visit you will learn more about the parks history, animals, physical features (crater lakes formation) together with the parks future prospects. After the day’s activities, you will return to the lodge & spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Mahogany Springs Lodge, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Travel To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Ishasha Sector
After breakfast and a leisurely morning, you will have a transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the Southerly Ishasha Sector.
Located in south-western Uganda, the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is said to be Africa’s oldest rainforest. It is world-renowned for its excellent gorilla-sighting opportunities. Aside from the amazing gorilla interactions, there are other draw cards such as a network of forest walks, over 340 species of birds. Don’t miss an opportunity to explore the spectacular Virunga Volcanoes.
The Ishasha Sector is well known for its one of a kind tree-climbing lions. The wildlife and sanctuary park is situated near the south-western edge of the Queen Elizabeth National Park in western Uganda.
Mahogany Springs is situated in one of the most intimate, secluded, beautiful and most importantly natural settings in the world and only around 2 minutes away from the Gorilla tracking starting point.

Gorilla Tracking and Optional Activities
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for briefing at exactly 8:00 am and tracking will commence in the next 30 min after registration and briefing by the ranger guides.
Gorilla tracking is a very captivating and unforgettable experience which more than repays the effort needed to reach Bwindi. This starts at 8:30 am and can last a few hours to a whole day depending on where the gorillas were left the previous day. After gorilla tracking, return to your lodge and have your lunch.
In the evening you may opt for a community tour where you will meet and interact with the shortest people (Batwa) of the mountains; learn about their way of life such as; hunting skills, medicinal knowledge, child upbringing, cuisines, art and crafts and many more interesting aspects.

Travel Back To Kampala City & Day at Leisure
After an early breakfast, depart Bwindi for Kampala. You will have a lunch stop-over in Mbarara & then proceed to Masaka stopping at the Equator; for a photo opportunity. After this stopover, proceed to Kampala city and upon arrival check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Brief Kampala City Tour & Departure
On this final day of your safari, enjoy a brief tour of Kampala city with visits to; the highlights of the city such as the Buganda palace, Uganda museum, Nakasero market, all the historical monuments, the largest craft village and temples. You will later be transferred to Entebbe International Airport to check in for your next home departure flight.
