Upon arrival, you will be met by our company safari guide who will transfer you to your accommodation in Entebbe. The guide will also brief you about the highlights of your trip. You can have an optional visit to Entebbe Botanical gardens. In this garden you can spot a variety of bird species and a few primates like the black and white colobus monkeys.

Day 2

Entebbe- Kibale National Park

Entebbe- Kibale National Park

After your delicious breakfast, your trip will begin with a transfer to Kibale National park. Kibale National park boasts of great numbers of primates and apes such as black and white Columbus monkey, grey cheeked mangabey, red Columbus and also nocturnal primates like the Thomas’ galago various bird species for bird lovers within the Bigodi wetland and numerous tree species. You will have a stopover in Fort Portal town situated in the shadow of the “mountains of the moon” for lunch. Thereafter proceed to your booked accommodation.

Day 3

Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Enjoy your breakfast, proceed to the park office for briefing. The highlight of Kibale Forest will be the chimpanzee trekking excursion. While in the forest expect to see at least 2-3 other types of primates most especially grey- cheeked mangabey and red tailed monkey. You will hear plenty of birdsong. The guides are knowledgeable and will identify various medicinal plants, bird calls and animal spoor. Once you allocate the chimpanzees, you will be allowed an hour with them. You will also spot a number of birds.
After lunch you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park arriving in the evening and check in your accommodation.

The day will begin with beautiful sunrise at the lodge terrace while having a relaxed breakfast and drive to the northern part of the park to Kasenyi plains in search for Lions, leopards, Antelopes, savannah bird species, buffaloes and drive back to the lodge through channel track in search for elephants, proceed for lunch.
In the afternoon go for a relaxed boat cruise along kazinga channel, where you encounter the elephants, crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes and water birds cooling off on the shores, which gives an opportunity of close photos.

After breakfast checkout and drive through the channel truck to the southern part of the park in Ishasha sector, this area is also home to Queen Elizabeth’s famous tree-climbing lions, which have developed a surprising tendency to lounge in the upper branches of old fig trees-a habit not commonly found in other lion populations, antelopes like topi. Go for your savannah picnic lunch at the Ishasha river, enjoy your lunch while viewing hundreds of hippos playing in the river. Proceed and drive through beautiful traditional communities, rolling misty hills, proceed and check in the evening.

After breakfast, proceed to the park offices for briefing where we are allocated gorilla trekking groups and given tips on how to encounter with the gentle giants. It may take a few minutes or hours depending on the movements of the gorillas. Upon return from the deep forest, you will receive a gorilla trekking certificate. There after back to the lodge. In the evening go for an optional community walk, a charming experience with the local people and a closer look at their culture.

After your delicious breakfast, Proceed to Lake Mburo National Park, as we enter the park, it is likely that you will spot some wildlife. Check in and have lunch. Later go for a boat ride on the lake and enjoy the rich bird life and hippos cooling off. Have an early dinner before going for a night game drive. This is special game drive of 2-3 hours provides 30% chances of seeing the elusive leopard and of course other nocturnal animals.
