Upon arrival, you will clear with immigration before meeting up with your guide at the arrivals. They will pick you up and transfer you to 2Friends Beach Hotel or any other accommodation of your choice. Here you will dine and spend the night on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2

Visit the Magnificent Murchison Falls

Visit the Magnificent Murchison Falls

After breakfast, drive northwards to the renowned Murchison Falls National Park, with a stopover for your lunch in Masindi. You will also have another stopover at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track rare rhinos that are protected in this sanctuary. Later, arrive at Murchison Falls National Park, also Uganda's largest well-protected wildlife area covering 3,840sq km. Move to the top of the Falls to view the natural beauty of these falls.
At this place, the river squeezes itself through a 7-meter narrow gorge from a width of more than 1km. It drops below with a thunderous roar forming a water spray that results in a stunning rainbow, the wonders of the Nile River! Dine and slumber at your lodge.

Day 3

Boat Cruise on The River Nile

Boat Cruise on The River Nile

Have an early delicious breakfast then explore the Northern part hosting a high number of savannah wildlife. This game drive offers great opportunities for photography of elephants, lions, Uganda kobs, buffaloes, giraffes, waterbucks as well as hippos. In case you are fortunate, you'll see even the leopards, in addition to a big number of bird species.
Following lunch, have a 2-hour boat cruise to the bottom of Murchison Falls from where great volumes of water escape through the small gorge forming an immense thunderous roar. During this boat ride, you will see several water birds plus mammals in big numbers like hippos and crocodiles. Head back to the lodge, have dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 4

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have a hefty breakfast then depart from the Murchison Falls National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park as you drive southwest, through Fort-portal and the Albertine Escarpment of the Western Rift Valley. Have lunch on the way at Mountains of the Moon Hotel found in Fort Portal town.
From here, continue to the Mweya peninsula found in the Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will arrive at the park in the evening, have dinner and your overnight at your lodge.

After an early breakfast, have a morning game drive to see the nocturnal predators as well as the early morning risers like lions, buffaloes, antelope species, leopards, waterbucks, elephants, hippos and warthogs. For birders, Queen Elizabeth is a paradise for birders as it hosts a diversity of migratory and also Albertine Rift Endemics. Dine and overnight at your lodge.

Have breakfast and set out for a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel for wonder game viewing and bird watching. Head back to the lodge for your lunch and then continue to the Kyambura Gorge, to track chimpanzees. If you are still on time, you can go for a forest walk in Maramagambo forest to explore the bat caves as you look for pythons that feed on these bats. Dine and overnight at Bush Lodge.

Transfer to Bwindi Forest via Ishasha Sector Tree-Climbing Lions

On this day, have an early breakfast and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest via Ishasha region in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth to see tree-climbing lions that are prevalent in this area. Continue to where you will have lunch along the way. Have a community walk (the Batwa -Pygmy cultural experience and entertainment) in the evening. Enjoy dinner and your overnight at the lodge of your choice.

After breakfast, proceed to the park headquarter to be briefed about the gorilla tracking before going into the verdant forest led by the rangers. In case you are fortunate, it may take you about 2 hours or even less to see amazing Bwindi giants. The experience of coming face to face with these peaceful primates is very overwhelming. Head back to the lodge where you will have lunch after tracking the gorillas and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. The drive will be through a beautiful part of the country often referred to as ‘the Switzerland of Africa’ because of its unique cool weather despite being near the Equator. This lake is said to be one of the most beautiful places in western Uganda. It is the second deepest lake in Africa [900 meters deep] and also one of the few places in the country where it is considered safe to swim as it is bilharzia free. Dinner and your overnight will be at the resort.

After breakfast, you will go for a boat ride. This lake is said to be one of the most beautiful places in Western Uganda. The landscape around the lake is made up of terraced hills protruding from the water’s edge. Bunyonyi means “place of little birds” and as the name suggests, there is plenty of birdlife around the lake.
After the boat ride, you will be transferred back to Entebbe having lunch along the way in Mbarara and eventually reach Entebbe late in the afternoon. You will be transferred directly to the airport for your outbound flight back home or transferred to your accommodation if you do not have a flight this evening.
