1-Day Akagera Game Drive and Boat Ride Adventure

We pick-you up from your hotel, any other place in Kigali city or Kigali International Airport. With a Countryside Tours-Rwanda driver-guide, depart from Kigali as early as 05h00. Mid-way, stop-over by Imigongo Art Center for leg stretching and exploring the different art objects in their exhibition hall. Towards 08h30, reach Akagera National Park reception for permits, register and pick picnic lunch from Akagera Game Lodge. Drive through the park to Ihema lake, the largest lake in the park and the second largest in Rwanda. Enjoy the one-hour boat ride, sharing and subject to availability, exploring the nature in the forest, hippos and crocodiles in the lake. Spend the whole day in Akagera National Park and arrive back in Kigali in the evening to be dropped at your preferred place in Kigali or Kigali International Airport for your departure flight.
