Today we will spend the whole day in the park. We head out and start to explore at sunrise, we will take you to areas with high levels of animal activity and we hope to show you something magical. All the BIG 5 lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo are found in Kruger, which has more species of large mammals than any other African park. There are huge crocodiles and hippos in the rivers and if we're lucky we hope to find the shy Cheetah. The park has 147 mammal species, 517 birds and 114 different reptiles, so there are lots to see in 2 days and you will have a fantastic time spotting all the wildlife. We will take you to a picnic site where we will serve breakfast with a view.
We will then serve lunch at camp and then head out for an exciting afternoon drive. We will continue our search for Kruger wildlife and return to camp at sunset. Tonight we will be cooking everything on an open fire and you will enjoy dinner outside under the stars in our bush restaurant.

Kruger National Park and the Panorama Route
After breakfast, we pack up and head towards the exit gates of Kruger. We first travel along the Drakensberg escarpment before we start to ascend it. Our first stop for the day will be at one of the viewpoints overlooking the Lowveld from the Highveld at the Blyde River Canyon. There we will have a bird’s eye view of the Lowveld we’ve been exploring for the past few days before we head to a very old mining town called “Pilgrims Rest”.
Pilgrims Rest has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of the town`s cultural importance and the town seems to be frozen in time. From here we head towards Graskop, a small town where we will have our own expense lunch. After lunch, we will head over to God’s Window a view so beautiful that it is believed to be God`s window to see the earth. We get a true glimpse of how earth appears from the clouds and the view is simply breathtaking!
Tonight we sleep in a resort at the Blyde River Canyon and enjoy the facilities they have to offer.
