We spend the whole day exploring the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives where we will have the opportunity to spot the Big Five (lion, elephant, leopard, rhino and buffalo). We will have an option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend the entire day in the park. We will also have the option to visit a local Maasai village at an extra cost or a hot-air balloon ride at $450 per person.
Masai Mara is one of the best-known and most popular reserves in Africa where the wildebeest migration can be seen with thousands of animals. Outside of the migration season, hundreds of animals can still be seen. The plains are full of wildebeest, zebra, impala, topi, giraffe, and Thomson's gazelle. Also regularly seen are leopard, lion, hyena, cheetah, jackal and bat-eared fox. Black rhinos are a little shy and harder to spot but are often seen at a distance. Every July, August and September, wildebeest travel from Tanzania's Serengeti plains, northwards to the Masai Mara.

Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi
Go on an early morning game drive at sunrise when predators are actively on the hunt. We may have an opportunity to see a lion making a kill as this is the most active time for them. We will also experience the beauty of the sunrise which reveals the backdrop of Masai Mara (which means "dotted hills" in Maa Language). We then return to the lodge for the main breakfast. After breakfast, we savor the last picturesque view of the Masai Mara as we depart.
We will arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon. You will be dropped off at either your hotel or the airport to connect with your flight, depending on the arrangements.
