Transfer to Lake Manyara and game viewing - For bird lovers

On this day we will drive to Lake Manyara National Park and enjoy a full day game drive. Lake Manyara National Park is one of the smaller national parks in Tanzania, but it still offers beautiful landscapes and is home to an interesting number of wildlife. The lake itself is an alkaline lake and reaches a maximum depth of 3.7 m. This park is a real highlight for bird lovers, as over 400 species of birds live here. Other residents of the park include elephants, buffalo, hippos, baboons, waterbuck, impalas, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests. The park has large numbers of leopards, but sightings are rare due to the thick vegetation. With a bit of luck you can catch a glimpse of the famous "tree lions" that climb trees. After lunch and further exploration of the park, drive straight to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Game viewing in Ngorongoro Crater and drive to Serengeti National Park

Today we dedicate ourselves to the Ngorongoro Crater, which offers a breathtakingly beautiful backdrop and is the best place in East Africa to see the 'Big Five' (elephant, rhinoceros, buffalo, lion and leopard). Any safari in northern Tanzania should ideally include a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater. It is one of the most beautiful nature safari locations in the world and an extraordinary place to meet people from the Massai tribe. The Ngorongoro Crater and the surrounding highlands together form one of the most beautiful regions in Africa. Volcanic craters make a great backdrop to some of the most fertile and richest pasture land in Africa. The most famous crater of this type is without question Ngorongoro, the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world and is home to the highest density of large game in Africa. Ngorongoro is rightly one of the most famous safari destinations on the continent. In the afternoon we drive to the Serengeti National Park and spend the night there.
