Upon arrival at the Victoria Falls Airport, you will be met and then have a private transfer with a Ker & Downey Africa representative to your hotel, which is officially the close hotel to the Victoria Falls. Hence we have included it in this itinerary.

Ilala Lodge has a verandah which overlooks rolling lawns and from which you can see and hear the mighty Falls.

The Falls is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. You will be free for the rest of the day to experience the lodge and Victoria Falls town at your disposal.

We have included a half-day fully guided tour of Victoria Falls as an activity. Although you can walk to the Falls from the hotel, it is better to go with a local guide who can tell you all about the history, statistics and show you the 16 view points that are a must on the way. We have also included a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.
