Day 2

Samburu National Reserve

The safari adventure continues in the northern hemisphere.

After breakfast you'll drive through the equator, stopping for a famous photo with your feet straddling this imaginary line. Palm fringed rivers and dusty red plains welcome you to Samburu National Reserve, an isolated land that offers a sanctuary to a rare cast of animals.

Long necked gerenuk stands on their hind legs, this rare antelope craning to reach an elevated tree branch. Dik dik hide in the short grass; they are the smallest of Africa's antelopes and one of its most charming.

You enjoy an afternoon game drive here after lunch before retiring to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

This day is yours to explore the dried plains of Samburu National Park.

After breakfast, you shall depart with packed lunch boxes to explore a full day game drive in the Samburu.

With two days in Samburu, you've got a great chance of spotting all the park's residents. Adding to the enchantment are 350 species of bird, each clambering for attention. Ornithologists will love the variety of Samburu birds. Hornbills holler from treetops, Maribou Stork reveal monumental wingspans, and eagles show why they're kings of the sky.

Day 4

Samburu to Lake Nakuru National Park

Samburu to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast we will check-out of the camp and hit the road again, game viewing on our way out of the reserve. Drive south to the finest Lake Nakuru National Park.

Arrive at Lake Nakuru Waterbuck hotel in time for hot lunch.

An afternoon game drive will welcome and introduce you well into this park.

After breakfast drive to the unspoilt savannah of Masai Mara Game Reserve.

Lunch will be served upon arrival followed by our first unforgettable game drive where you will have an opportunity to observe the magnificent game of African wild in their natural habitat.

Dinner and overnight at Olaragai (Kenia) Mara Campsite.

Day 6

We will spend a full day exploring the spectacular reserve after breakfast.

Wherever you go you will be able to see lots of animals such as the Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat-eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest, Elephants just to mention a few.

It is common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but are still reasonably common.

Break for lunch at a picnic site or near the Mara River where the wildebeest cross in the months of July to September on their way to Tanzania, then embark with your game drive till sunset.

You may decide to spend the afternoon catching up on some sleep post a very tiring three days in the Masai Mara.
