Fly from Nairobi to Masai Mara (Naboisho Conservancy)

Meet and greet at your hotel in the city at 0800hrs and immediately drive to Wilson Airport to catch the 1000hrs flight to Masai Mara. Your guide will pick you up from the airstrip. The Conservancy is located within 50,000 hectares of the pristine wilderness a true escape. Explore the wildlife-rich Mara Naboisho Conservancy, a conservancy formed to protect the pristine wildlife area and safeguard the Mara ecosystem while providing a source of livelihood for the Masai people. Arrive at Leopard Hill in time for lunch. Later, settle in and soak up the tranquility of the African bush. Walk around the camp and get to know more about your new home for the next few days. Wind up your first day in the bush with an afternoon game drive that includes a stopover for a sundowner. Back at camp enjoy dinner and storytelling around the camp fireplace.

The rosy dawn is the perfect time to observe as Naboisho’s cycle of life slowly unfolds. Together with your guide, you will head out on a morning and afternoon game drive to explore the rare sights and wonders of the bush. The camp is situated in a private conservancy, which means the number of camps and vehicles here is strictly limited, offering an exclusive safari experience. While on your evening game drive as the sun sets you will have a stop at a scenic spot to enjoy sundowner drinks and snacks. Extend your evening safari adventure into the twilight in an effort to spot the fascinating nocturnal creatures. Head back to camp for dinner followed by relaxation at the campfire as you let the lull of the savannah soothe you.

Wake up at dawn to an array of optional safari activities including an early morning self-instructed yoga, morning game drive, or a walking safari. You may also treat yourself to a relaxing massage session in the comfort of your tent (at an extra cost book with reception). Later on, enjoy some downtime. We have a collection of interesting safari books to keep you entertained or enjoy the exciting sightings straight from the camp, so make use of the binoculars provided. A short lunch follows, and then you can join your guide for an afternoon game drive. Enjoy Basecamp sundowner in the bush before heading back to the camp for a delicious meal followed by sharing tales from your day with fellow guests around the fireplace.

Make the most of your last day. Enjoy an early morning game drive or a walking safari before returning to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast, you will pack your personal belongings and bid your Masai host goodbye. Your transfer to the airstrip will include a game drive en-route so keep your camera ready! Reach the Naboisho Airstrip in time for your scheduled mid-morning flight, the perfect departure time for international connections.
