Day 1

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel at 08:00 and drive west for Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch. After lunch game drives is planned in the park coming back to the camp later in the evening. Maasai Mara Game Reserve is Kenya’s finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants and well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although July, August, and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeests and zebras, there is also resident wildlife year round. The famous Maasai tribesmen live very close to the game reserve. Dinner and overnight will be at PrideInn Mara Camp. Meal Plan Lunch and Dinner.

After breakfast, you will proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for a game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. This morning head to the border and the bustling commercial town of Namanga. After clearing customs, meet your new safari guide, travel into Tanzania and on to Arusha National Park. You will do your game drive till evening then proceed to Arusha town for your dinner and overnight at Arusha Kibo Palace Hotel.

With diverse wildlife that includes herbivores such as elephants, hippos, buffalo, zebra, and even the occasional wildebeest, Arusha National Park is also a perfect place to get out and stretch your legs - with both walking safaris and canoe safaris available within the park. After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro arriving mid afternoon. You will descend 2000 feet (670 meters) into the crater floor with your picnic lunches. You will be in the park with a lunch break at Ngoitoktok Springs picnic site. The main crater is 165 kilometers and contains populations of various species including black manned lions, rhinos, buffaloes, elephants, and other grazing animals. Nearly three million years old, this ancient caldera shelters one of the most beautiful wildlife havens on earth. Vast herds of zebra, wildebeest, gazelle and their predators roam the crater floor. Later drive to the lodge for your overnight stay.
