Welcome To Johannesburg | Travel To Pilanesberg National Park | Evening Game Drive
Upon arrival in the morning hours, you will be met by our Kubwa Five Safaris representative with your name printed on an A4 paper will welcome you at airport and then be transferred to Pilanesberg National Park, arrive in time for lunch.
The summer months are a favourite with keen birders and bird photographers, with the plethora of migratory and resident birds particularly abundant at this time of year thanks, among other things, to more readily available water sources for them throughout the park, which also means more readily available reflective backdrops for fantastic bird images. In total, there are more than 360 bird species in the Pilanesberg National Park.
In the evening, you will go for an evening game drive in an open safari vehicle in search of the Big 5 and in addition, impala, kudu, antelope, bontebok, blesbuck, and nyala graze over the plains.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Morning Game Drive and Evening Game Drive In Pilanesberg National Park
You will enjoy early morning coffee/tea followed by a thrilling open vehicle game drive through the Pilanesberg National Park in search of the Big 5, general game and prolific bird life.
Return to the lodge for lunch, rest of the afternoon spend at leisure.
Pilanesberg National Park is a pretty and picturesque park all year round, but particularly pleasing to the eye in the wet winter months – the grass and vegetation are wonderfully green, lush and full of life; the dams, streams and waterholes full to bursting; the earth a deep, rich red; and the sky often painted in a myriad of colours as the rain clouds, thunder and lightning roll across the surrounding hills.
In the evening, you will head back to the park, for an evening game drive in search of the game that may have eluded us thus far, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Full Day Game Drive | Morning Game Drive and Evening Game Drive In The Park
After breakfast, you will head out for the morning game drive in the Pilanesberg National Park in search of the Big 5, general game and prolific bird life. Guests come to Pilanesberg National Park to enjoy the untamed African landscape. Here the Big 5 roam free. The the mixture of Lowveld and Kalahari vegetation ensure a lush environment for the wildlife to thrive.
The Pilanesberg National Park, because of its unique location and geological significance, can support a wider variety of endangered animals than other parks of similar size, punching way above its weight class if you’re looking for a good spot to safari. This has meant that really cool animals like the black rhino, tsessebe, wild dogs, roan and sable roam the planes of Pilanesberg.
After lunch, you will head back to the park for the afternoon game drive.

Final Day In South Africa| Fly Back Home
This is your last day on the safari. After breakfast, you will be driven to the O. R. Tambo International Airport for your flight back home. On this trip you will the chance to enjoy the true African experience.
