Follow the scenic Panorama Route and admire God’s Window, Three Rondavels, Blyde River Canyon, Bourkes Luck Potholes and the various Canyon waterfalls like the Berlin and Lisbon falls. Pilgrim’s Rest is an authentic historical village dating from the first South African gold rush and now a national monument.
If time permits, swim in the beautiful MacMac Pools to cool off.

Day 2

This morning, you'll perhaps visit an important attraction you might have missed the day before on the Panorama Route.

Then you'll depart for the Kruger Park, renowned for being the richest animal kingdom on the planet.
Please arrive at your camp no later than 3:00 pm. Your glorious evening safari departs around 4:30 pm in open sided vehicles, with with a professional ranger pursuing the Big Five and other rare and endangered species (included).

Please note these 3 safari activities can only be operated by the parks board, therefore, making it a special experience.

Have an early morning safari walk with armed rangers (included). You'll experience the Kruger on foot. Rangers will show you all sorts of amazing things, such as plants, insects, reptiles, tracks, Big Five and provide superb information on them. You'll encounter large and small mammals on your walk and get close enough to experience these ultimate encounters.

You have come to Hlane Royal National Park for the big stuff. This well-organized reserve, Swatini’s largest protected area is home to elephants, lions, leopards, white rhinos and many antelope species. It also offers impressive opportunities for birdwatching. Activities include overnight bush trails, a dedicated rhino drive, guided bird walks, mountain biking and cultural tours.

You can easily explore the park under your own steam in a standard car, but it's a good idea to join at least one guided drive—you'll need to if you want to see the lion enclosure.

Ponta Do Ouro is the southernmost point on the Mozambican coast and 15km from the border of South Africa. This quaint holiday village is only a short distance away from the hustle and bustle but just far enough to enjoy a laid back beach vacation.

Whether you’re into scuba diving, snorkeling, deep-sea fishing, swimming in warm water, or tanning on white-sand beaches, Ponta Do Ouro will certainly be your ideal paradise for relaxation. It is surrounded by lush tropical forests and deserted crystal-clear beaches.

Fresh bread, fruits and vegetables can be purchased at the market. Don’t expect any luxurious items as shopping is very limited in the area. There is one pharmacy, one bottle store, a hardware store and a few other small shops in town.

Activities: Swimming with dolphins, surfing lessons, beach walks, diving, see turtles laying eggs on the beach, shopping and eating, visit Maputo Elephant Reserve safari, visit Kosi Mouth, quad biking, rentals and tours.

Mkuze Game Reserve

Mkuze Game Reserve

The 45 000 ha Mkuze Game Reserve on the plains of the Elephant Coast and well known for its atmosphere of peace and tranquility, drawing many return visitors.

A “Big Five” game reserve, Mkuze is a typical bushveld protected area, having great beauty and contrast in that it has extensive wetlands on its south eastern section. It is a world-renowned bird watching spot, with more than 430 recorded species on its bird list.

The extensive wetlands host hippo and crocodile, while the rest of Mkhuze is home to wild dog, buffalo, cheetah, both black and white rhino, elephant, and a multitude of plains game. These include impala, nyala, blue wildebeest, zebra and kudu. Amongst the less common small antelopes to be found are grey duiker, red duiker and the diminutive suni.

Besides the safari activities available, it is an excellent park for self-drive.

Distance from Ponto to Mkuze is 174km (1hour 40 minutes).

After breakfast, you'll depart Mkuze for the St Lucia Wetlands. Enjoy a sunset safari boat cruise (included) on the St Lucia wetlands, home to a multitude of the most diverse ecosystems in the world and a World Heritage Site. It is in this complex ecosystem where bush meets beach, mangrove and sand forests are home to a stupendous diversity of wildlife and flora. You will have the opportunity to encounter hippos, crocodiles, eagles and maybe even the elusive leopard.
