3-Day Tarangire, Ngorongoro & Mount Kilimanjaro Day Hike

Tarangire Game Drive

You will be picked up from your hotel or Airport and after being familiar with the guide will drive to Tarangire National Park (a 2-hour drive) famous for its diverse landscape. The park is particularly known for its abundance of ancient baobab trees and the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country. It provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families.

Later on, you will go to the Tarangire River picnic site and enjoy the beautiful view of the river and animals while having a hot lunch. Small birds, monkeys, and baboons will try to scare you off your lunch but there is nothing to worry about.

After lunch, you will proceed with the game drive and exit the park around 4:30 pm where you will head to accommodation (budget lodge) for dinner and your overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater game drive

After an early breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro crater and descend the crater on a journey to find the black rhino. Rhinos are the hardest to spot in the beautiful crater as most animals will be easier to spot from this park due to it being a crater floor.

After lunch, you will do a game drive and ascend the crater to the camp around late afternoon and start the trip back to Arusha town to your lodge accommodation.

Kilimanjaro Full day excursion then Airport

A perfect foot stretcher after long hours of game drives.

After breakfast, drive to the Kilimanjaro National Park (Marangu Gate, 1860m). The drive will take approximately 3 hours. Once the necessary gate registration is completed, your trek will begin by hiking through the dense rainforest.

You will catch a glimpse of black and white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and various bird species. Our knowledgeable guide will inform you about Kilimanjaro and will explain the different species of plants and animals you will see.

After a 3-4 hour hike, you will reach Mandara Hut (2700m), where you will have a well-earned rest and lunch, followed by a short hike (15-minute walk) to the Maundi Crater, to enjoy wonderful views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Northern Tanzania.

Later you will return to the Marangu Gate (a 2-3 hours walk), where your vehicle will be waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel or Airport.
