1-Day Short Tour to the Ngorongoro Crater

Pickup from your hotel at Arusha as early as 06.30 hrs in the morning by our driver. We will cross the Great Rift Valley on our way and ascend the stunning escarpments of the rift valley with a brief stop at the Rift Valley Escarpment’s view point (if you wish). We will have a brief stop at the Loduare Main Gate 5-10 min then proceed to the Crater Rim where we will make another short brief stop to have nice and stunning views over the Crater. Often called the eighth Natural Wonder of the World, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. About 2 million years ago, the Ngorongoro volcano erupted and its walls collapsed. The volcano floor sank to create a natural enclosure with its 600 m tall walls. Plenty of animals such as wildebeest, zebras, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, lions, hyenas and if lucky the rare black rhino in a distance. Plenty of birds such as flamingos and other water birds. We have lunch then start to head back to Arusha. arrive late afternoon.
