Day 1

Transfer from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park

Depending on your location on the first day of the 6 days on search for the big five you will be welcomed by our driver guide who will brief you about the safari and then start the journey to Murchison falls national park. On the way you will have a stopover at Ziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking where after you will continue the journey with en-route lunch in Masindi town. After lunch you will proceed to the park and upon arrival you will drive directly to the top of the falls where you will be able to view the beautiful waterfalls, enjoy water splashes among others. From the top of the falls, you will drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise

Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise

After breakfast on the second day of the search for the big five your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to go for a morning game drive where you will be able to view animals like buffaloes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, giraffes, elephants, oribi, Jackson’s hartebeest, warthogs, view predators like lions and leopards if you are lucky, spot different bird species among others. After the game drive, you will return back to the lodge for lunch. After lunch you will go for an amazing boat cruise to the bottom of the falls where you will be able to view hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, view elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs among others drinking water along the shores, view water birds like cormorants, hornbills, kingfishers among others. After the boat cruise you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Transfer to Kibale forest national park

Transfer to Kibale forest national park

After an early breakfast on the third day of the big five search you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kibale forest national park. It’s a whole day journey and on the way you will have en-route lunch and enjoy great views of the Rwenzori mountain ranges, tea plantations, crater lakes among others. Upon arrival in the park, you will continue to check into the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

After an early breakfast on the fourth day of the 6 days Murchison falls, Kibale and Queen Elizabeth safari, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge and transfer to Kanyachu visitors Centre for a briefing about the rules and regulation to follow during trekking. You will start trekking in the forest with an experienced park guide in search of the chimpanzees. During chimpanzee trekking which takes about 30 minutes to 4 hours. You will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity learn more about their habits, behaviors, watch them feed, photos and record the beautiful moments. You will trek back to the starting point where you will meet up with your driver guide and drive through to queen elizabeth you will go for an evening game drive where you will be able to view different animals like elephants, Uganda kobs, waterbucks among others. After the evening game drive, you will drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5

Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise

On this day, you will have a game drive and launch trip (boat trip) on the Kazinga Channel. Early in the morning, you will go out for a game drive through the park, with magnificent views of the plains, valleys, terraced hills, and wild animals such as reedbuck, bushbuck, kob, warthog, elephant, lion, buffalo, and so much more. Have a break and relax as you eat lunch served at the lodge.
The afternoon adventure entails a launch trip (boat trip) on the Kazinga Channel, a water stream joining Lake Edward and Lake George. The channel attracts a large school of hippos and Nile crocodiles, besides the variety of birds that flock the reed shores like the shoebill, pelicans, kingfishers, saddle-billed stork, and sometimes the crowned cranes. Return to your accommodation in time for your dinner.

Day 6

Transfer back to Entebbe

Transfer back to Entebbe

On the last day of the 6 days safari, you will enjoy a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kampala. On the way you will have en-route lunch in Mbarara town and a stopover at the Equator where you will also be able to take photos and buy souvenirs. From the Equator you will proceed to Kampala arriving early evening and upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe international airport for your departure or drop you off at any place of convenience.
