Day 1

Transfer to Lake Mburo national park

You will be picked up from the airport by your guide and be briefed about your 6 Days Expedition in Uganda.

After briefing, you will be driven to Lake Mburo national park with a stop at the equator for photos and also to enjoy craft shopping and buying souvenirs. After your experience at the equator, you will continue to your lodge where you will have lunch.

After lunch, you will engage in a game drive and explore Lake Mburo national park in search of different wildlife species such as zebras, buffalos, warthogs, antelopes among others. You will return to your lodge after the game drive for dinner and overnight stay at Leopard Rest Camp.

Day 2

Nature walk and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

You will have breakfast at your lodge before proceeding to enjoy a nature walk experience in Lake Mburo national park.
During the nature walk, you will enjoy the beautiful views around the national park and can also spot some of the wildlife species around such as topis, duiker, oribi, reedbucks, klipspringer, impala among others.
After the nature walk you will be driven to Queen Elizabeth national park for dinner and overnight at Engiri game lodge.

Day 3

Game drive and evening boat cruise

Game drive and evening boat cruise

On the 3rd day of your 6 days wildlife and gorilla trip Uganda, you will wake up for an early breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for your morning game drive around Queen Elizabeth national park.

During the morning game drive, you will have an experience spotting wildlife species in the savanna plains of this national park such as antelopes, elephants, lions, leopards, warthogs, hippos among others.

After the game drive, you will have lunch. During your trip around Queen Elizabeth national park, you will also enjoy an evening boat cruise along the Kazinga channel where Lake Edward and Lake George meet.

During the boat ride, you will spot buffalos, elephants, hippos and Nile crocodiles along the shores of the lake and also spot various bird species such as eagles, kingfishers, herons among others. You will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Engiri game lodge.

Day 4

Transfer to Bwindi national park and community walk

Transfer to Bwindi national park and community walk

You will have an early breakfast at your lodge and then proceed to check out of the lodge. After checking out you will be driven to Bwindi national park for more adventures. On arrival in Bwindi national park, you will check in your lodge.

You will also enjoy a community tour where you will interact with the local community of the Batwa who are forest dwellers that depend on fruit gathering and hunting in the Bwindi forest.

You will also learn about their culture and way of life, watch traditional dance performances, and learn about their local herbs and food preparation and many other cultural aspects. After the Batwa experience, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Buhoma community.

Day 5

Gorilla trekking

Gorilla trekking

You will wake up for an early morning breakfast at your lodge. After your breakfast, you will be driven to the park headquarters to start your gorilla trekking experience.
At the park headquarters, you will be briefed about the gorilla trekking activity before continuing in the forest to look out for the gorillas in the impenetrable forest.
During the gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi forest, you will follow different trails in the impenetrable forest as you search for the gorillas in their natural habitat.
You will spend 1 hour with the gorillas and after the gorilla trekking experience, you will trek back to the briefing point at the park headquarters where you will be met by your guide who will drive you back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma community.

Departure

On the last of your 6 days wildlife and gorilla trip Uganda, after breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and proceed to drive back to Entebbe with a stopover for lunch in Mbarara.
You will also have lunch in Mbarara after which you will continue your drive back to Entebbe where your guide will drop you off at the airport and this will mark the end of your trip.
