2-Day Flying Mikumi Night Game Drive

Zanzibar - Fly to Mikumi

This tour will start from your hotel in Zanzibar. Our driver will pick you up at 1200pm and proceed to the airport to catch a flight to Mikumi which departs at 1430. The pick-up time will differ depending on the location of the clients' hotel. From out of Stone Town, we will pick them up as per the schedule above. Otherwise, if the client is staying in Stone Town, we will pick them up at 1230 The drive time to the airport is less than half an hour.

On arrival at the airstrip, 1540 our driver will meet you from where you will start the safari. Explore Mikumi National Park. Proceed on the late afternoon game drive before heading to your booked accommodation at mikumi cottages on full board.

staying at mikumi cottages since this accommodation is located inside the park, you will be around the wild and enjoy the environment all the time, the next morning early around 0500am you will depart for another game drive while is still dark and at 0700 you will be done with the tour proceed for.

Mikumi National Park to Zanzibar

You will depart for game drive 0500am to do more exploring and get the experience of a lifetime. This tour will take 3 hours and you will return for breakfast. After the game drive, you will depart toward the airstrip to catch your flight at 0720 to Zanzibar. You will arrive at 0900am in Zanzibar where our driver will be ready to transfer you to your accommodation in Zanzibar. This will mark the end of this tour.

General expectations: You can expect to see different animals including lions, elephants in large groups, herds of Thomson's gazelles, and many giraffes. You will also visit the Hippo Pool.
