Arusha - Lake Manyara National park

In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Lake Manyara National Park; this is located within the Great Rift Valley. Upon your arrival to Manyara you will be welcomed by the Great Rift Valley Escarpment view and fun makers’ baboon at the entrance of Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara boasts a spectacular setting, famous for its tree-climbing lions and soda-ash Lake. Blessed with its forest habitat, harboring elephants, giraffes, baboons, blue monkeys and bushbuck, just to name a few. The park also provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. The shores of the lake, encrusted with pink flamingo, attract more than 400 species of birds, many of them waterfowl or migrants. Here you will enjoy an afternoon game drive with a picnic lunch. Late afternoon you will drive to the outskirts of the rim of Ngorongoro Crater for hot shower dinner and overnight.

After branch, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater on your way you have option to visit Oldupai Gorge, home of our earliest ancestors and the most famous archaeological site in East Africa. Thereafter, make your way to the Ngorongoro Crater, where you spend the night on top of the crater rim, granting you an awarding view of the crater floor.
