Day 1

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Our guide will pick you up at 7:00 am from Kampala where you start on your journey to the famous Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park is best known for its biodiversity and is well known as a habitat of about 95 animal species and 612 species of birds. You will briefly stop at the equator in Masaka town for a photo moment. Enjoy an en-route lunch as you proceed to Queen Elizabeth where you can do an optional evening game drive (depending on your arrival time).

Day 2

Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Launch Cruise on Kazinga Channel

After an early breakfast, the driver takes you for the morning game drive. It is a wonderful experience with great chances of spotting wild animals like buffalo, Uganda kob, elephant, hippo, lion, leopard, waterbuck, warthog, and many other animals. You will then return to your lodge for relaxation.

After lunch, you will go for an amazing launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel where you will have exciting and unforgettable memories as one of the highlights of your tour. There is also a water sail which provides an outstanding platform for photo taking and across-the-board game viewing. As you return from the boat cruise, you will drive back to the hotel for your dinner and overnight.

Game Drive and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, prepare for a game drive to Ishasha to look for the tree-climbing lions. Return for lunch and start a journey to Buhoma, located near the famous Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is best known for its mountain gorilla and flowering plant species.

The Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is a large primeval forest located in southwestern Uganda in the Kanungu District. The Bwindi Forest is on the edge of the Albertine Rift, the western branch of the East African Rift, at elevations ranging from 1,160 to 2,607 metres.

Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Talks Experience

After an early breakfast, you will arrive at the park premises for registration by 8:00 am. Here, you will be briefed and guided by the Uganda Wildlife Authorities. You will then start to move through the bushes searching for gorillas and other species such as birds, chimpanzees, and golden monkeys. You have an opportunity to be with the gorillas for one hour.

After leaving the forest, you have the option to visit the Batwa community around Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

Transfer Back to Kampala with a Stopover at the Equator

This will be the last day of your tour. After an early breakfast, you will begin your journey back to Kampala while viewing beautiful sceneries along the way. You will have a stopover for lunch with another stop at the equator. Your driver will drop you off at your accommodation in either Entebbe or Kampala.
