6-Day Okavango Delta Houseboat Safari and Fishing

Welcome Shakawe

On arrival in Maun, you will be welcomed by a Mack Air representative that will guide you to your charter plane for Shakawe.
In Shakawe, your tour guide will meet you and transport you to your accommodation for the night. You will receive a welcome drink allowed to settle into your rooms.

Your accommodation is in luxury tents with ensuite bathrooms (shower).

Dinner will be served and the evening is spent around the campfire.

Delta Belle Houseboat

The next four(4) days are yours. The houseboat comes with a skipper, an onboard chef, a personal tour guide, 2x smaller boats and a skipper for each.

The houseboat is equipped with four(4) ensuite bedrooms (showers). One room has a double bed, while the other three are each equipped with 2 single beds. On the upper deck are a dining room, lounge and bar area.

All meals are prepared by the chef onboard and any dietary requirements will be confirmed prior to arrival.

The smaller boats are available at all times (except during nighttime). They can be used for bird-watching trips, fishing for the Okavango tigerfish, or just exploring the incredible beauty of the Okavango Delta.

Return to Maun

After breakfast, the houseboat will make its way back to Askiesbos Camp.

You will be taken to the Shakawe Airport where you will return with a charter plane to Maun.

In Maun, you will be shuttled to your accommodation for the evening where you will be joined by your tour guide for the dinner celebration.
