Crater Tour
Have an early breakfast and then descend to the crater floor for an incredible safari game drive to see wildlife in the most beautiful place on earth. This is truly the "garden of Eden". The Ngorongoro Crater is world-famous and the biggest caldera. The caldera is 19km in diameter and 260km in circumference. It offers one of the largest concentrations of wildlife due to the availability of food and water throughout the year. The crater has a river, several swamps, and a soda lake that attracts aquatic birds.
The crater is a very important hide and habitat for endangered wildlife species. It is one of the few places in the world with a high population density of black rhinos.
After having lunch at the beautiful picnic site and viewing the hippos, you will ascend the crater floor and head to the main gate for check-out. We proceed on the drive back to Arusha.
