Day 1
Johannesburg to Khama Rhino Sanctuary
Johannesburg to Khama Rhino Sanctuary
Your adventure begins in Johannesburg as we will depart at 5 am from the Garden Court Hotel, next to the O.R. Tambo International Airport, and make our way to Botswana. We will cross the border at Groblersbrug and continue to the Khama Rhino Sanctuary. On arrival, you will pitch your tents and get ready for the afternoon game drive (optional extra). Our travel chef and her team will prepare dinner to be enjoyed around the campfire.

Day 2-3
Maun (Gateway to the Okavango Delta)

We depart after an early breakfast and make our way towards Maun.
On our way, we will stop at a dry salt pan to allow a moment to take some incredible photos. Snacks and drinks will be provided to ensure the moment is captured and remembered.
In Maun, you will pitch your tents and get ready for a few days of adventure.

Key Information
Maun is also known as the gateway to the Okavango Delta. Various activities are available and to be arranged on arrival.

Mokoro trips

Game drive to the Moremi Game Reserve (full day)

Day 4-5
Elephant Sands
Elephant Sands
We depart after breakfast and make our way towards Elephant Sands. On our way, we will stop at Planet Baobab to enjoy a refreshing drink.
On arrival, you will set up camp whilst fully aware of the elephants roaming only a few meters away.

Elephants are roaming the area, and caution should be taken when walking at night.

Day 6-7
Towards the Chobe National Park
Towards the Chobe National Park
We depart after breakfast and make our way towards the border of Zambia - Kasane.
On arrival, we will set up camp, enjoy the pool and get ready for the afternoon sunset cruise on the Chobe river (included).
The next morning, we depart at sunrise to the Chobe National Park for an early morning Game drive (included).
The rest of the day is to explore the town or partaking in any of the many additional activities available.

Kasane is situated and part of one of the only quadripoints in the world (four nations coming together - Namibia, Botswana, Zambia & Zimbabwe).
Various additional activities are available and to be arranged on arrival.

Day 8
Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)
Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)
After breakfast, we will travel to the Zimbabwe border and make our way to Victoria Falls.
After setting up camp, we will visit the Victoria Waterfalls Park, where you can enter to experience one of the wonders of the world (Entry fee included)
The rest of the day is to explore the area and to partake in some of the multiple activities available (a list of activities is available on request)
In the evening, we will enjoy a Celebration dinner as the experience will come to an end the following morning after breakfast.

Day 9
Saying Goodbye
Saying Goodbye
After breakfast, we will say our goodbyes as the experience comes to an end.
Transport to the airport can be arranged for those departing either home or onto their next adventure.
Accommodation for those who want to stay a few more days can be arranged and should be done in advance.
Our final goodbyes will take place at the Shearwaters offices, opposite the camping grounds.
