Day 1

Nairobi to Lake Naivasha

Nairobi to Lake Naivasha

You will be picked up early in the morning from your Nairobi hotel or airport and drive to Lake Naivasha, which is about 2 hours drive. There will be a stop over at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint to experience the beautiful views of Mount Longonot and the escarpments of the Rift Valley. Afterwards, you will proceed to Lake Naivasha, arriving in the early afternoon, check-in and have lunch.

Later in the afternoon, tranquillity glides through the sparkling waters of Lake Naivasha on a boat safari promising to unveil a plethora of the region's spectacular birdlife. You'll travel in the company of a resident birding expert who will help you identify some of the region's 400 bird species. After the boat ride, you'll proceed to the Crescent Island Game Sanctuary, one of the scenic and breathtaking wildlife sanctuaries situated along the lake. This is the only place where you'll walk with animals as they roam freely.

Later, you'll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara National Reserve

Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara National Reserve

You will enjoy an early morning breakfast. After breakfast, you will leave Lake Naivasha for Masai Mara, a 5-hour drive. You will pass Narok, a famous Maasai town, and proceed to Masai Mara National Reserve. You will arrive on time for check-in and have lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive through the park in search of lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalos, and other members of the Big Five plus other animals till sunset.

You will return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Masai Mara National Reserve

You will wake up early at 5:00 a.m. for a cup of locally brewed Kenyan coffee, then drive to the reserve for a hot air balloon take-off point. You will be briefed about the experience and then climb into the basket of the balloon. The hot air balloon flight takes approximately 1 hour. During this experience, you will enjoy watching the magnificent sunrise, enjoying aerial views of animals, and having excellent filming and photography opportunities. After the experience, you will be driven to a picnic site where you will be treated to a champagne and bush breakfast accompanied by dishes prepared onsite. After the bush breakfast, you'll proceed for a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Later, you will return to Zebra Plains in the evening for an arranged bush nature walk with an experienced and knowledgeable guide in a wildlife conservation area.

Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 4

After a relaxed breakfast and check-out, the guide will take you to Maasai village, where you will interact with the local people and buy souvenirs. You will then enjoy the road trip to Nairobi with lunch at Narok town. You should be in Nairobi at around 4:00 p.m. Drop off at your hotel or free onward transfer to the airport for your flight home.
