After an early morning breakfast at your residence or at your hotel, your guide will meets & greets and do the chimpanzee $ lowland Gorilla Trekking briefing. You will then visit the Kigali genocide museum to pay your last respects for the victims of 1994 Rwanda Genocide against Tutsi and this will be followed by a transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park. Overnight at Ken Barham Guesthouseor similar.

At 04:30am an early morning breakfast or order packed breakfast & this will be followed by meeting with the ranger guide at Gisakura & then transfer to Cyamudongo & or Uwinka visitors center to begin with chimpanzee tracking and subsequently there will be a canopy walk that starts at Uwinka visitors center and then transfer to Lake Kivu, Cyangungu. Overnight at Peace Guesthouseor similar.

After an early morning breakfast, be prepared with your passport to go crossing the border at Rusizi (1) and proceed to kahuzi Biega National Park to participate on the lowland Gorilla Tracking on arrival. You’ll be a companied by the ranger guide and his team of trackers to hike into the forest in search of the gentle giants. Once you find them you’ll be allowed to stay with them for an hour and after the experience return to the start point and then transfer back to Bukavu and or to Rwanda provided there’s available time for crossing the border. Overnight at Nediva Bed & Breakfast in Congo (DRC)/Peace Guesthouse in Rwanda.

After an early breakfast, begin the journey on the lakeside to the stunning Virunga mountains that stretches the borders of Rwanda, Uganda & Democratic Republic of Congo home to half the population of Mountain Gorillas for the other being inhabited at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, Uganda. Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda is believed to be one of the best place for trekking gorillas with the price of the trekking ticket doubling if not tripling other sites for gorilla trekking. Lunch will be enroute at lake kivu before checking inn into the volcanoes National Park. Overnight at Gorillas Hotel or similar.

Today to participate on the Rwanda Gorilla Trekking a Gorilla Trekking ticket at additional cost of $1,500 is required & or participate in the alternative Bosoke Volcano Hike.
Early morning breakfast will be followed by a transfer to Kinigi park headquarters for trekking briefing and then hike up into the rainforest to a troop of magnificent mountain gorillas. Each troop has its own 24 hour guard, so their location is known, you usually have an hour with them, time to sit and observe them at very close quarters indeed. After the day experience return back to the Lodge. Overnight at Gorillas Hotel or similar.

After an early breakfast, return to Volcanoes National Park headquarters at Kinigi a head of the Golden Monkey Trekking. Golden Monkey trekking can be predetermined to be before midday or latest 1pm and there transfer to Bwindi/Mgahinga Gorilla National Park a head of your 2nd Mountain Gorilla Trekking uganda. Overnight at Travelers Rest Hotel or similar.

Please note that this is an optional 2nd Gorilla trekking is required & costs additional $700, alternatively you’ll go for Sabyinyo Volcano trekking Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.
After an early morning breakfast, transfer to the ranger station for Gorilla Trekking Briefing on dos and don’ts while you will be interacting with gorillas, afterwards you will be accompanied by a senior ranger guide & hike into the forest in search of gorillas. Once you find them, you will be allowed to stay with them for an hour & After the experience return back to the lodge. Overnight at Travelers Rest Hotel or Similar.

A leisurely breakfast will be followed by transfer back to Kigali leaving the magnificent forest/the volcano mountains to the gorillas marking the end of the 8 Day Rwanda, Uganda & Congo (DRC) Gorilla Trekking Trip. Upon arrival in Kigali, Rwanda your driver guide will be advised on the drop off point and or at your hotel or at the airport targeting for your outbound departure time. End.
