Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) Arusha Airport (ARK), you will be met at the airport by your transfer driver and assisted at the airport. After going through Immigration, Baggage Claim and Customs, you will transfer to Tulia Boutique Hotel and Spa to stay overnight on a bed-and-breakfast basis.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park:

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha at 08:30 AM by your guide for the approximately 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. As you enter the park, your guide will open the roof for a better viewing experience.

Tarangire is home to the largest elephant herds in the north of Tanzania. Giraffes, buffaloes, lions, zebras, wildebeests, as well as various antelopes and gazelles, can also be spotted here. The landscape is made up of seasonal marshes and a seemingly endless tree savannah with its mighty baobab trees. After extensive game drives in the park, you will stay overnight at Hhando Coffee Lodge on Full Board basis.

After an early morning breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority and down into the Ngorongoro Crater. Grass steppes and acacia forests are home to almost all of the animal species found in the East African savannah. In only a few hours, you have the chance of spotting the “Big Five” (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard).

After extensive game viewing and a picnic in the crater, you will leave the highlands of Ngorongoro in the afternoon and continue to the Serengeti National Park. You will soon see the seemingly endless plains of the Southern Serengeti and finally reach the Seronera Valley in Central Serengeti. Stay in the stunning Embalakai Luxury Tented Camp on a full-board basis.

Wake up at 06:00 AM and enjoy breakfast before you start your day with a dedicated game drives in the Serengeti National Park. This park is home to the greatest concentration of large mammals on earth. Non-migratory species include large prides of lions, solitary leopards, cheetahs and graceful impalas. The landscape is characterized by vast stretches of open plains, punctuated by kopjes (rock formations that have survived from the pre-Cambrian period), and open woodlands. The morning game drive is very important as you may be lucky to witness a lion killing its prey.

After lunch, you will continue with the game drive en-route to the Karatu area. Stay overnight at Eileen's Trees Inn to overnight on a Full Board basis.

After breakfast, drive to the Lake Manyara National Park to spend a full day on a game drive exploring the park. It is said to be the "loveliest (lake) in Africa". Lake Manyara covers 127 square miles (329 square kilometers) of Lake Manyara National Park. The lake's alkaline waters cover approximately 89 square miles (231 square kilometers). It is famous for a good number of baboons and birdlife and is also home to herbivores such as hippos, impalas, elephants, wildebeests, buffalos, warthogs, and giraffes. Giant fig trees and mahogany trees can be seen in the groundwater forest around the park gates.

We expect to be back to Arusha around 05:00 PM although we can flexible in case you will fly to Zanzibar or back home.
