You will be picked up at the airport by our driver and transferred to your hotel (A1 Hotel, or similar). Depending on your arrival time you can spend the day discovering Arusha.
Guests coming into Tanzania get to enjoy a wide range of activities ranging from relaxation to extreme adventure. A usual Tanzanian safari tour which lasts for about 10 or 11 days will let you experience most of the activities. Furthermore, you can take tours specific to a particular one.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will be picked up by the guide with lunch boxes and start a less than 3-hours’ drive to Tarangire National Park. With its savannah, seasonal swamps and upside-down trees, it is well known for its large number of elephant herds. During the dry seasons the Tarangire River, being one of the main sources of water in the area, attracts various animals. After an extensive game drive, enjoyed from the open roof of the vehicle, you will leave the park and travel to Migombani Campsite for overnight

Day 3

Lake Natron

Lake Natron

Following the morning meal, we’ll drive towards Lake Natron. The drive time will be approximately 3 hours, and after arriving, we’ll be having our lunch. Mto wa Mbu spectacular area is nestled in the northeast part of the Ngorongoro Crater and forms a section of the Great Rift Valley. Lake Natron on the other hand is nestled in between volcanic hills and miles-deep craters. The lake is the lowest point in the Rift Valley system located just 600 meters above sea level. This is also regarded as world’s most caustic body of water. After lunch, we’ll get down to the lake in the evening hours.

Day 4

Lake Natron

Lake Natron

You’ll start the day by walking up to the Walter Falls. Passing through steep cliffs and shady gorge, you’ll reach the waterfall. Even though there’s a bit of scrambling involved as you’ll cross the river a few times, it’s nevertheless fun. After few hours of walking, you’ll reach a natural swimming pool encompassed by a steep rock wall. Springs above are the main source of water of the pool, and you can swim there for hours if you wish to. Following that in the evening hours, we’ll visit the school and village that are located around Lake Natron. The nearby Oldoinyo Lengai can be hiked if preferred. The hiking tour usually starts at midnight and the time it takes to reach to the top is 6 hours. From the top, you’ll have see the sunrise which is stunning.

Day 5

Eastern Serengeti National Park

Eastern Serengeti National Park

A full-day game drive at Serengeti national park which starts early in the morning after breakfast since it is when most of the cats are active. Serengeti is well known for being the home of carnivores; the kopjes, endless plains, Mara-Grumeti ecosystem and the famous annual wildebeest migration make it a unique park too. After the early morning game drive, we will get back for a hot lunch and have a short break. Thereafter we will proceed with the game drive until the evening, then get back for dinner at camp site.

Spotting cheetah could be a huge highlight of a safari to the Eastern Serengeti, and the prime zone is Gol Kopjes. Known as the world’s biggest Japanese shake plant, the Gol Kopjes – tremendous rock shake arrangements – are domestic to the most noteworthy concentration of cheetah on the landmass, and offer some of the finest diversion seeing openings within the Serengeti amid the blustery season from January to June, when the Migratory herds are passing through the area.

The Central Serengeti could be a phenomenal region to see the Awesome Migration in activity: the groups move through this area of the stop from April to June as they travel northwards, and after that they come back once more heading south from October to December. A few of the most excellent areas within the Central Serengeti to see the groups incorporate the Seronera Valley and Seronera Stream, Moru Kopjes and Simba Kopje

Day 8

Early morning you will set out on another game drive in the Serengeti before continuing towards the Ngorongoro Crater. After the early morning game drive in the Serengeti which will take about 5 to 6 hours then you will drive to Ngorongoro conservation area.

Day 9

After breakfast, we will drive towards the 600-deep caldera. The crater, which formed when a large volcano exploded and collapsed on itself two to three million years ago. Then you will descend in the caldera for a game drive, mammals such as spotted hyenas and the “Big Five” – elephant, rhino, buffalo, leopard and lion are all found in the crater After 5 to 6 hours’ game drive in the crater you will lunch then en route to Lake Eyasi. We will visit the Datoga tribe first which is the most general name for these dispersed ethnic group. Spelled as “Tatooga,” they are known to the outside world by the name of Taturu. Very little is known about this ethnic group and you’ll be fascinated by their way of life. The sub-tribal group of Datoga, known as pastoral Barabaig, resides in the northern volcanic highlands on Mount Hanang. The territory is sacred to the Barabaigs who relate to this place in many of their folklore and songs.

Lake Eyasi to Mto wa Mbu

Lake Eyasi to Mto wa Mbu

In the early morning, you’ll set out to the bush with the Hazda Tribe bushmen for hunting. There are around 1,000 to 1,500 of them living around Lake Eyasi. They are a genetically and linguistically distinct tribe who rely extensively on hunting and gathering food. They speak a click based language which is similar to the Khoisan but is not mutually intelligible with any other language form. After lunch in the bushes, we’ll get drive back to Mto wa Mbu

Day 11

Mto wa Mbu – Arusha

Mto wa Mbu – Arusha

This day is reserved to explore locals live. After breakfast you drive to Mto wa Mbu village where you will meet your local guide who will take you around the area for that day. Mto wa Mbu is a small town but has more than 120 tribes living in the same area. The majority are Maasai and Iraq people who are mostly found within this area. You will be given a short briefing before you start walking into the Banana plantations where you will find local people working. You will also pass a spot where women make a local beer called mbege. Your can have a drink if you like. After lunch you drive back to Arusha.
