Day 1

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Meet your safari guide and leave Entebbe/Kampala in the morning for your Queen Elizabeth safari. The target for the day is Queen Elizabeth National park. Our first stop on the way is by the equator to get the experience of standing between the southern- and northern hemisphere. Continue on for lunch in the town of Mbarara and then do the last part of the journey through the rolling hills with tea plantations. Arrive at the lodge and enjoy a relaxed evening. Overnight: At the hotel on full board.

Day 2

Morning Game Drive & Boat Cruise

Morning Game Drive & Boat Cruise

Early morning, you will embark on a game drive to explore the park's diverse wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, hyenas, and various antelopes. After the game drive, you will return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation before an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. The boat cruise offers an opportunity to see various waterbirds, hippos, crocodiles, and other wildlife that come to drink from the channel. Be sure to catch the sunset aboard the community boat, use this opportunity to take as many pictures as possible as you meet and interact with other cruisers on board. Return to your lodging and rest for tomorrows activities.

Day 3

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Through Ishasha sector

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Through Ishasha sector

Early morning after a hefty African breakfast, travel south of the park through the ishasha sector, an area prominent for the Tree Climbing Lions, track them and enjoy them as they bask in the tree tops. Take as many picks as possible then after continue to Bwindi for check in at your lodging, have lunch and in the evening visit the Batwa community in the Bwindi forest community. Experience the untamed community that inhabits the parks dense forest, learn about there day to day lives and enjoy the true African bush experiences. Later retire at your lodging and prepare for the next days trekking.

Day 4

Gorilla trekking experience

Gorilla trekking experience

After breakfast, you will leave your lodging and head to the trekking center for a briefing about the trekking exercise by the guides and rangers. Be grouped into teams of 6 and start your trekking journey. Trekking can take something like 1-6 hours and the trekkers will get ateast one hour to enjoy the watching the gentle giants in there natural habitats. Take as many pictures as possible. After return to your lodging, refresh and rest after the long trek.

Day 5

Transfer from Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi

Transfer from Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi

Early morning, after breakfast embark on a journey through south western Uganda to Lake Bunyonyi (literally meaning the lake of many birds) a perfect spot for bird lovers and nature lovers. Check in at your lodging and have lunch. Later in the evening go for the lake Bunyonyi boat cruise in local dug out canoes, enjoy the cool lake views and enjoy various birds along the lake shores. It should be noted that the lake is home to over 200 species of birds so its recommended to carry your binoculars with you to catch great moments of Fish vs birds. There are 29 islands on Lake Bunyonyi, each with its own unique history and culture, Take a boat ride and visit a few of them, including the popular Punishment Island. Later retire at your lodging.
