2-Day Unforgettable Safari Experience in Selous Reserve

Game Drive in Selous Game Reserve

On day 1, you will start your adventure by transferring to the airport at around 4:00 am for a flight to Selous. After a 6:30 am departure, you will arrive at Selous Game Reserve at around 7:15 am. Once you land, you will switch to safari cars and begin your game drive in Selous. You will have a short break for coffee/tea and local cookies at around 10:00 am, followed by a bush lunch at around 1:30 pm. The game drive will continue until 3:30 pm-4:00 pm, and then you will be transferred to your camp at 4:30 pm.

Your accommodation for the safari will be at the Mapumziko Lodge, where you can choose between a fully-equipped safari tent or a more luxurious bungalow in the new Selous Lodge. Both options include full-board meals.

Boat Safari on Rufiji River

On day 2, after breakfast at around 6:30 am, you will embark on a boat sunrise safari on the Rufiji River. This boat safari will last approximately 2.5 hours. Following the boat safari, you'll return to the lodge for breakfast. This leaves you ample time to unwind and relax before your late afternoon departure to Zanzibar. At around 3:30 pm, you'll be transported to the airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, we'll arrange your transfer to your hotel.
