Meet & Greet - Departure from Maun

Upon your arrival at Maun Airport or from your hotel, your guide will meet you with the safari vehicle and drive you to Moremi Game Reserve. This will be more like a game drive transfer to our camp. Once settled in camp, enjoy a relaxing evening around the campfire and a delicious dinner.

Full Days in the Moremi Game Reserve

Enjoy a light breakfast prepared by our chef in camp as the sun rises before heading out on a morning game drive. Most predators are active first thing, so an early start often proves very rewarding. On one of the mornings, we will go on a motorboat cruise. After lunch in the camp, the afternoon will be spent on another game drive. Return to the camp at sunset for dinner, winding the day down around a lovely campfire.

Scenic Transfer from Moremi Game Reserve to Khwai

Today, we will drive slowly through Moremi Game Reserve, heading north towards the Khwai Community Area. The drive through both wilderness areas takes between 3 and 5 hours, and you can expect to see a variety of general game, elephants, and birdlife.

Full Days at the Khwai Concession

Mornings will be spent on game drives, and for one of the afternoons, enjoy the peace and serenity of the Okavango Delta by exploring one of its many waterways in the traditional dugout canoe - the mokoro. Gliding along in the mokoro, you can enjoy magic moments like jacanas hopping between water lilies, malachite kingfishers, and reed frogs.

While in Khwai, you can also take an optional night drive, during which you can spot the nocturnal animals that live under the cover of darkness.
