One of our representatives will meet you in Kampala at 8:30am, at which point you will begin your journey to Kitgum. You will visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary en route. Eat lunch and then drive to Bomah Kitigum, arriving in time for your dinner and overnight stay.

Check out Kitgum before enjoying a scenic drive to Kidepo via Kotido, arriving in time for an evening game drive. Enjoy panoramic views of the Narus River Valley and amazing photo opportunities. You will see elephants, herds of buffaloes, jackals, jackson’s hartebeest, klipspringer and possibly lions. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the Apoka Bandas rest camp.

Depart from Kidepo and enjoy panoramic views on the drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Eat lunch en route and enjoy a game drive in the northern section of the park. Later you will go on an evening game drive before returning for dinner and your overnight stay at Fort Murchison.

Murchison Falls is Uganda’s largest national park and covers a total area of 5,308 kms. It features a pleasant wilderness area of rolling grasslands and wooded savannah. In addition to its scenic beauty, Murchison is renowned for the spectacular falls from which it gets its name.

Day 6

Murchison Falls National Park

Go on an early morning game drive today to view lions, buffaloes, giraffes, the unusual shoebill stork and many other animals. After lunch you will go on a boat trip upstream along the Victoria Nile to the base of the falls. The boat stops just ten meters from the “Devil cauldron”. Take pictures of the majestic falls and then hike to the top. You will be picked up here and then return for dinner and your overnight stay at Fort Murchison.
