Day 1

Departure to the Namib Desert

Departure to the Namib Desert

Your guide will meet you at your hotel in the morning, or alternative arrangements can be made for the safari departure point. We'll start our drive through the Khomas Hochland Mountains, along the breathtaking landscapes of the Namib Desert to Sessriem, surrounded by the highest dunes in the world. Enjoy the tranquility of the desert and let this day fade out with a gin and tonic whilst watching the sun go down on the horizon.

Day 2

Sossusvlei

Sossusvlei

In the early morning hours, we will enter the Namib Naukluft Park towards Sossusvlei. We will experience the sunrise at the famous Dune 45 with a spectacular color changing effect in the sky. Afterwards, the drive continues to the Sossusvlei. From here we will discover the Dead Vlei as well as the Sossusvlei, where you have the opportunity to climb the highest dunes in the world. In the meantime, your guide prepares your well deserved breakfast picnic under a shady camelthorn tree. After the meal, we will head back to Sessriem, where we will visit the Sesriem Canyon, probably the smallest canyon in the world.
Return to the lodge in the afternoon.

From the Desert to the Coast

From the Desert to the Coast

Today’s journey through the seemingly endless scenery of the Namib Desert brings you to Swakopmund, passing through canyons, mountains and spectacular landscapes. Swakopmund is Namibia’s most favored holiday resort on the coast of the Atlantic. It offers many different interesting possibilities to relax and a magnitude of activities can be organized for you from here e.g. countrywide scenic flights, boat trips, dune boarding, quad biking, and many more.
Driving time for the day : ± 4 to 5 hours ( with many sight seeing stops en-route).

Day 4

Swakopmund and Surroundings

Swakopmund and Surroundings

After breakfast, we will depart for a boat cruise from Walfischbay. Some seals will visit us on board the yacht as well as some pelicans and other sea birds. With some luck, we might also witness some orcas and moonfish swimming past the boat. Enjoy your second breakfast with Champaign and exclusive Namibian oysters on the Atlantic Ocean.
We will return back to Swakopmund, where your guide will conduct a city tour. The rest of the day is spend at own leisure and a romantic stroll down the palm alleys or the beach is highly recommended.

Day 5

The Animal Kingdom - Etosha National Park

The Animal Kingdom - Etosha National Park

After a relaxing breakfast, we will leave the coast and travel back inland towards the “Etosha National Park”, one of the largest and most beautiful game parks in Africa.
After arrival in the lodge and checking into our rooms, we can still proceed for our first game drive in the national park. Return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 6

Etosha Game Drive

Etosha Game Drive

After an early breakfast, we will return to the national park. We'll spend this day on game drives, on which you will have the opportunity to view elephant, giraffe, zebra and many other animal species.
The routes inside the national park are laid out in such way that they lead along major animal migration routes within the park. Many waterholes along the way ensure that animals have sufficient to drink, making these locations for excellent game viewing.
Driving time for the day : ± 8 hours. (Depending on your choice, with lunch stop in-between.).

Day 7

Return to Windhoek

Return to Windhoek

Today we'll return back to Windhoek. We will pass a small town called Otjiwarongo, where we will have a lunch stop. You will have the opportunity to visit the Crocodile Farm and learn some very interesting facts about these animals.
Just north of Windhoek, is the small town Okahanja, where you have the opportunity to visit a local wood carver’s craft market. This is optional as we'll pass the market on route to Windhoek. We will reach the capital of Namibia in the afternoon.
Your safari has now come to an end.
