Day 2

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Early in the morning after your breakfast, you will be transferred to Murchison falls national park with a scenic drive to the park and lunch en route. You will have en route viit to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino tracking. Reach Murchison falls national park with a visit to the top of the falls for a remarkable sight and sound of the Nile crushing through a narrow gorge. You will then proceed to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Game drive and boat cruise

Game drive and boat cruise

Wake up early for breakfast and embark on a game drive in the northern part of the park in search for early raisers and predators returning to their hideouts. Expect to view lots of wildlife such as; Elephants, Buffaloes, Giraffes, African Lion, Leopard, Jackson’s hartebeest, Uganda Kob, lions, waterbuck, buffalos among others moving through the lovely savanna grasses. Return to the lodge for lunch and later head for a launch trip on the river Nile rewarding hippos, crocodiles and over 20 unique bird species such as the goliath herons, Egyptian geese, and many more.

Day 4

After a heavy breakfast, you will set off a scenic long drive to Kibale Forest is a home to 13 primate species. The journey goes through beautiful Albertine Rift, county side homesteads, and banana plantations among others. Reach Kibale Forest National park early in the evening.

Day 5

Chimpanzee tracking/habituatuation

Chimpanzee tracking/habituatuation

After an early morning breakfast, you will proceed to Kanyanchu to start the Chimpanzee habituation experience where you will observe the time-to-time behavior of the chimpanzees returning in the evening. This will give you ample time to take enough photos for the primates, which will apart from the chimps include Colobus Monkeys, Baboons, vervet monkeys among others. Alternatively, you may go for chimpanzee tracking adventure where you will stay a maximum of one hour with the chimps once you encounter them. In the afternoon, you may go for nature walk to Bigodi wetland sanctuary.

After your breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP with a wide game view en route for hours like elephants, buffaloes, leopard, hyena, and leopard. Have lunch which will be followed by a tremendous boat cruise along the Kazinga channel for scenic views of the lake Edward and George, Hippos, yawning crocodiles, several water birds like cormorants and Pied kingfisher among the others.

Day 7

Game drive and transfer to Bwindi National Park

Game drive and transfer to Bwindi National Park

You will wake up for a cup tea and there after meet your guide for an early morning game drive through in the Kasenyi sector where you may see game as Lion, elephant, hyena, buffalo among others. You will then set off to Bwindi National park passing via Ishasha sector for game drive in search of tree climbing lions. Depending on the day’s weather, you may be lucky to find them near or enter deep in search of them if them. Proceed to Bwindi NP reaching in the evening.

Early morning, you will head to the park headquarters with packed lunch to be briefed about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. You will then proceed to the forest to track the gorillas. This may take 2 to 5 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. You will spend an hour with the gorillas once you encounter them. In the evening, you may go for cultural walk to the Batwa community.

After breakfast, you will go for guided nature walk and later set off to Kampala with en route game drive to see game as Zebras, impalas among others. You will also have stopover to look at the Royal Drum makers, the Equator -where you will be able to stand and be on both hemispheres at once, arriving in the Kampala in the afternoon and proceed to Entebbe airport to catch up with your departure flight if on schedule.
