On arrival at Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport, you’ll be met airside and assisted to your light aircraft flight to Madikwe. One of South Africa’s largest reserves, Madikwe delivers exceptional Big 5 game viewing with regular sightings of lion, elephant and rhino, as well as the endangered wild dog. What’s more, the reserve is completely malaria-free making it a popular choice for a family safari.
Madikwe Hills Private Game Lodge sits up on a hillside, its 10 wonderfully spacious suites looking out over the African bushveld. Your professional guide-and-tracker team will take you out on morning and afternoon game drives. There's also a Junior Ranger Programme offering fun activities such as learning how to track animals. Between safari activities, relax on a sunbed or grab a towel and enjoy a refreshing dip in your private plunge pool.

From Madikwe Hills you’re flown back to Johannesburg and then on to Cape Town, where you’ll be met and transferred to the award-winning One&Only. The resort’s location, in the V&A Waterfront, is fantastic. Table Mountain as your backdrop and an easy stroll takes you to restaurants, shops, the Two Oceans Aquarium, and incredible Zeitz Mocca (art gallery).
This itinerary includes a half-day private Table Mountain and city tour, as well as a full-day adventure tour. Led by top guides, these incredibly flexible tours are built around you and your family: try stand up paddling in the Waterfront canals, have a picnic lunch in Cape Point Nature Reserve, go horse riding down a wild beach or visit the Cape Winelands – it’s up to you!
