Mushara Bush Camp is a luxury family-focussed safari lodge in a private reserve on the eastern edge of Etosha National Park. Accommodation consists of 16 luxurious tented suites, four with additional beds for one or two children. With plenty of privacy, floor to ceiling glass doors and windows, en suite bathrooms and a large elevated game viewing deck, the chalets are pure bush luxury.

Game drives into Etosha Park are led by experienced guides in custom-built safari vehicles. Huddled in the rocks, with sweeping views across the Aba Huab valley, Camp Kipwe is full of surprises from the outset. As you approach it appears as if rocks have tumbled down the hill to reveal this gem of a camp. The setting is one of intimacy and space. An inviting lounge area, where birds fly in to enjoy the water seeping from the rocks, a refreshing swimming pool nestled in the rocks and a scattering of bungalows complete this eco friendly camp.

The surrounding space and endless views of Damaraland cannot be contained and are just waiting exploration – activities include a visit to Namibia’s “open air museum’, the Twyfelfontein petroglyphs and bushman paintings, Burnt Mountain and the Organ Pipes rock formations and enjoy an early morning game drive in search of the desert adapted elephants.
