Miles of Magnificent wilderness
Depart after breakfast for Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Maasai Mara is the northern part of the Serengeti, one of Kenya's most favored game-viewing areas. Arrive in time for lunch at the camp. You will then have a game drive in the afternoon to see the sundowner hoping to see Lions in large prides, Elephants, buffalos, zebras and numerous plain animals.
Maasai Mara Game Reserve covers 700 Square miles of magnificent wilderness. It is the Africa of the imagination; endless reaches of acacia-dotted grasslands studded with hazy hills. It’s the land of African legend: Lion are abundant throughout the park, as are the elephants, giraffes, and a variety of gazelle species and zebra. Cheetah and leopard are also regularly seen and, less commonly, rhino. The annual wildebeest migration, one of nature's few remaining wildlife spectacles, occurs in the Mara where the big animals and their predators are to be present in abundance during this time frame of your trip.

Balloon Safari: Depending on where you are staying, you will be picked up very early in the morning and transferred by a 4x4 jeep to the launching site at 0500hrs. Here you will meet your pilot, receive a briefing and watch the inflation of your balloon. It’s a dawn take off, rising as the sun rises and floats in whichever direction the winds of the morning takes you. Your pilot can precisely control the altitude of your balloon: sometimes flying at treetop height, sometimes lower, offering a unique perspective and great photographic opportunities of the wildlife below. At other times he will ascend to 1000ft or more to see the enormity and wonderful panorama of the Maasai Mara. From time to time the pilot must put more heat into the balloon with the powerful whisper burners. In between these burns, there is silence apart from the natural sounds below.

Sound of The African Bush
Following breakfast, an early sunrise will find us on the safari roads of the park, searching for the largest herds of migrating wildebeest. Our driver-guide will choose our route based on his extensive knowledge of the park and the local conditions. Careful planning and local knowledge will allow us to make the most of the trip, which will hopefully include a chance to witness the most amazing animal spectacle in the world, the wildebeest migration. That evening, we will return to our accommodation with more amazing experiences and enjoy the exciting night sounds of the African bush.

A world heritage Site
Breakfast at the Camp dining facilities and along with picnic lunch boxes, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation, arriving in time for afternoon crater tour. We spend the rest of the day descending the 2000ft walls of the crater (a World Heritage Site) and exploring this home to nearly 25,000 animals. At this time, we take picnic lunches with us, in order to spend as much time down there as possible. This caldera, formed by a volcano sinking, hosts a unique cross-section of ecosystems, from Soda Lake to savannah and is home to almost every major species of African mammals. Later in the day, our time will run out and we will ascend on the steep slopes, back to the rim of this world famous crater. From here, it is only 30 minutes to our lodge, which bears one of the greatest possible vistas in the world -a sight truly to behold. Once we settle in and had a great sunset cocktail on the terraces, we gather for a very enjoyable dinner and save ourselves.

A scenic Gem
After breakfast, collect picnic lunch boxes and drive to Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing drives. Stretching for 50km along the base of the rusty-gold 600-metre high Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara is a scenic gem, with a setting extolled by Ernest Hemingway as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”. The compact game-viewing circuit through Manyara offers a virtual microcosm of the Tanzanian safari experience. From the entrance gate, the road winds through an expanse of lush jungle-like groundwater forest where hundred-strong baboon troops lounge nonchalantly along the roadside, blue monkeys scamper nimbly between the ancient mahogany trees, dainty bushbuck tread warily through the shadows, and outsized forest hornbills honk cacophonously in the high canopy. Large buffalo, wildebeest and zebra herds congregate on the grassy plains, as do giraffes – some so dark in coloration that they appear to be black from a distance.
