Day 1

Maun City

Maun City

We will pick you up from Maun Airport on arrival. Your adventure begins shortly after, as we head for the southern tip of the Okavango Delta. Upon reaching the mokoro station, you will meet your poler/guide who will brief you about activities and safety during your stay, before boarding a mokoro. You will glide silently through the ever-changing web crystal waterways until you reach one of its many islands where you will set up camp.
In the late afternoon, enjoy a guided bush walk that will introduce you to the sounds, sights and smells of the African bush. Be on the lookout for Elephants, Hippos, Crocodiles, Zebra, Giraffe, Warthog and antelope such as Kudu, Waterbuck, Reedbuck, Impala, Red lechwe and Sitatunga. The Okavango Delta is one of the top birding destinations in Africa.
On returning to camp, wash off the day's dust with a warm bucket shower, followed by a tasty
dinner.
