Day 1

You'll be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi at 8:00 am for a briefing and connection with the group. Drive along the floor of the Rift Valley to Narok Town for an early lunch. Continue to Masai Mara, arriving at the camp in the late afternoon. Proceed on a sundown introductory game viewing drive. Then, we'll take our first thrilling game drive in the Masai Mara, one of East Africa's top safari destinations. The Mara reserve incorporates 1510sq km of incredible, wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek Rivers in Kenya. One glimpse is enough to explain its appeal; it is typical open savannah, with a mass of amazing wildlife. Wherever you go in the vast Masai Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffes, baboons, warthogs, bat-eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topi, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest, elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight, L, D.

After breakfast, you will have a full day of morning and afternoon game drives in this Kenya's most popular game sanctuary. Enjoy breakfast at the camp followed by check out. You might want to optionally visit a local Maasai Village for a cultural tour at an extra cost. Drive to Nakuru with an en-route lunch. You will arrive in Nakuru Town in the evening and spend the night at a budget hotel, B, L, D.

After an early breakfast, drive into Lake Nakuru National Park for an extended game viewing drive session. In the afternoon, after lunch, drive back to Nairobi via the Great Rift Valley ViewPoint and stop for some souvenir shopping, before continuing across the plains to Nairobi. You'll arrive at approximately 4:00 pm and be dropped off at the hotel, B, L.
