Pick up from your hotel in Nairobi or at the airport and drive to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch. Amboseli National Park provides the classic Hollywood image of Africa. Set in rolling savannah scenery, it is dwarfed by the presence of the pink-tinged, snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro, which, at 5,896 meters (19,340 feet), is the highest free-standing mountain in the world. Against this magnificent backdrop roam vast herds of elephants accompanied by lions, buffalos, cheetahs, giraffes, baboons, gazelle, hippos and wildebeest. There are also over 400 species of birds, all manner of reptilian, flora and fauna and some of the most soul-searing views in Africa. Full day in Amboseli National Park with guided game drives in the morning and afternoon to explore the park and have magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in Africa. View large herds of elephants, renowned to be residents of this park. Amboseli is a popular destination for elephant sightings. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here, ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands. You can also visit the local Masai community living around the park to experience their authentic culture. Animal sightings include leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, buffalos, elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, crocodiles, mongoose, hyrax, dik-diks, lesser kudu, and nocturnal porcupines. Day 3
Depart Amboseli National Park to Lake Naivasha, via Nairobi, 5-6hrs

After breakfast, depart to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake on the Great Rift Valley floor. Lake Naivasha is located northwest of Nairobi, with the town of Naivasha on its north. You will arrive in good time for lunch and siesta. You will then enjoy a scenic sunset boat cruise to see the hippos and walk on Crescent Island among wildlife, herbivores only. The lake's waters draw a great range of game to these shores. Giraffes wander among the acacia, buffalo wallow in the swamps and colobus monkeys call from the treetops while the lake's large hippo population sleep the day out in the shallows. Set in 150 acres (61 hectares) of grassland studded with acacia bushes and trees, the Sopa Resort is home to a resident giraffe, waterbuck and vervet and colobus monkeys. It is also a night stop for the hippos when they leave the lake every night to come and trim the grass on the expansive lawns. Dinner and an overnight stay are at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort.

Enjoy an early breakfast. Take a short drive to Lake Nakuru, a shallow alkaline lake in the Rift Valley renowned for its spectacular flamingo population. Visitors to Lake Nakuru can enjoy the wide ecological diversity with varied habitats ranging from Lake Nakuru to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. A game drive is the main activity at Lake Nakuru. Foragers, grazers, hunters and scavengers all play their roles in the natural existence of Lake Nakuru. The park also has over 450 bird species, including flamingos. Lake Nakuru National Park is ideal for bird watching, hiking, picnics and game drives. The lake is famed as one of the world's greatest ornithological spectacles. Drive to Masai Mara National Reserve and arrive in time for lunch. Masai Mara is a pristine wilderness of haunting beauty, and it promises its visitors a profusion of wildlife, prolific bird life and the unprecedented opportunity of catching up with all the members of the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino) in one morning. Full day in the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Masai Mara National Reserve offers one of the best opportunities to see cheetahs and lions. A visit to this reserve between July and October will allow you the best chance to witness firsthand as thousands of wildebeest migrate across the swollen, crocodile-infested Mara River. This is one of nature's most incredible wildlife spectacles! The sheer number of wildebeests arriving in the area is staggering. The migration is a dramatic mass movement of almost two million wildebeests, zebras and gazelles in an annual cycle driven by rainfall. The migration to Masai Mara offers fresh grazing and sights of dramatic river crossings as the animals face enormous crocodiles. It is an extraordinary sight! November's short rains trigger the last leg of the migration when the wildebeest move south to Serengeti. Dinner and overnight stay are at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge. All meals are included.

Wake up to a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge, followed by check out. There is an optional visit to a local Masai village for a cultural tour. Start your journey back to Nairobi to arrive in the afternoon at approximately 3:00pm. Breakfast is included.
