At 07:30am meet your driver-guide at your hotel in Dar es Salaam and embark on your scenic journey to Nyerere National Park, one of Africa’s largest and unspoiled wildlife reserves. After lunch, at 16:00pm enjoy a peaceful boat safari on the Rufiji River to spot hippos, crocodiles, and riverbank wildlife.

Game Drive – Mikumi National Park and Iringa

Early in the morning at 06:30 have breakfast, then leave from hotel to Mikumi park (15 minutes from hotel to the park) for game viewing, this is a good time for you to drive inside the park looking animals like elephant, hippos, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes etc, if lucky even lion and leopard. At 15:00 start drive to Iringa. Dinner and overnight at Iringa sunset view lodge.

Game Drive – Ruaha National Park

After breakfast spend a full day exploring Ruaha. A fine network of game-viewing roads follows the Great Ruaha and its seasonal tributaries, where, during the dry season, impala, waterbuck, and other antelope risk their life for a sip of life-sustaining water. The risk is considerable; not only from the prides of 20-plus lions that lord over the savannah, but also from the cheetahs that stalk the open grassland and the leopards that lurk in tangled riverine thickets. This impressive array of large predators is boosted by both striped and spotted hyenas as well as several conspicuous packs of the highly-endangered African wild dog. Dinner and overnight will be at Mwagusi Safari camp.
