This morning we depart Nairobi by road through the scenic Athi Plains and into the bush country of Amboseli National Park, home to the legendary Maasai community and famous for huge herds of Elephant.
After lunch an afternoon 'Spice' game run is planned. In addition to Elephant, Antelope, Zebra, Wildebeest, Buffalo and the elusive Leopard, nearly every vista within the Park is framed by majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.

Day 2

Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, we set off for another stimulating ‘Spice’ game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest to Giraffes to Baboons. Optional visit to a Masai village is planned after breakfast.
Masai warriors are famously known as the proud nomadic People whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals are known across the world.
A visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Midday finds us at our lodge for lunch and afternoon rest, followed by another extensive 'Spice' game drive.

We depart Amboseli after an early morning breakfast with a break for lunch in Nairobi City. After a 5 hour leisurely drive across the floor of the Great Rift Valley we shall take a brief stop to enjoy the stunning panoramic views of the Great Rift Valley. We shall arrive in the Mara in the late afternoon. The region's dramatic landscape, with its sweeping escarpments and wide plateaus, adds to the magic of the experience. The Maasai Mara is renowned for hosting one of the highest concentrations of wild animals in Africa and the Big Five.

Day 4

After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch near the Mara River, close to the famous migration crossing area.
Morning and afternoon game drives in search of the Big Five, as well as the countless other species that reside in the vast reserve.
We expect to see a wide variety of wildlife, including giraffes, elephants, zebras, hippos, baboons, warthogs, hyenas, impalas, hartebeest, wildebeest, lions and cheetahs among others.
In the months of July and August, millions of animals mostly wildebeest and zebras move from the Serengeti in Tanzania to Maasai Mara before returning to Tanzania between from October onwards.
After an exciting day of game viewing, return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5

Departure from Maasai Mara to Nairobi City
After breakfast, you will depart from the safari camp at 10:00am and enjoy a final en route game drive through the Masai Mara National Reserve. Take in the last glimpses of the wildlife and landscapes as you exit this extraordinary park.
You will then journey back to Nairobi, arriving at approximately 4:00pm. Your unforgettable Masai Mara safari concludes upon arrival in the city.
