After briefing you will begin your journey with a scenic drive across the highlands of Central Kenya. Arrive at the park and enjoy game viewing enroute to Aberdare National Park, where you’ll check-in for lunch. Your tree lodge is overlooking a bustling wildlife waterhole. Watch elephants, buffalo, and other animals in their natural habitat from the comfort of the lodge’s deck. Overnight at The Ark Lodge.

Day 2
Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast we shall depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrival in Lake Nakuru National Park: note that the flamingo numbers have been reducing due to climate change. We shall go for a mid morning game drive in this stunning park. Lake Nakuru is known for hosting some endangered species of wild animals. You will have an opportunity to see rare Rothschild’s Giraffe along with white rhino, especially along the lakeshore. The black rhino is also a resident of the park.
The few quantity of flamingos is accompanied by other birdlife – pelicans, cormorants, kingfishers among others.

Day 3
Arrival in Maasai Mara Game Reserve

We’ll have an early breakfast and depart for the Maasai Mara, with stops at scenic vistas along the way.
We’ll get to the Maasai Mara in time for our first game drive over its rolling hills, with its acacia trees adorning the landscape.
While at the Mara, we’ll have plenty of time to track its seemingly endless array of wildlife – keep an eye out for lion as sightings are not uncommon.

Day 4
Full day - Maasai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch near the Mara River, close to the famous migration crossing area.
Morning and afternoon game drives in search of the Big Five, as well as the countless other species that reside in the vast reserve.
We expect to see a wide variety of wildlife, including giraffes, elephants, zebras, hippos, baboons, warthogs, hyenas, impalas, hartebeest, wildebeest, lions and cheetahs among others.
In the months of July and August, millions of animals mostly wildebeest and zebras move from the Serengeti in Tanzania to Maasai Mara before returning to Tanzania between from October onwards.

Day 5
End of Safari - depart to Nairobi
End of Safari - depart to Nairobi
After a leisurely breakfast at your camp, your driver guide will assist you with the checkout process and proceed to Nairobi – Kenya’s colorful capital city.
On the way, your guide will point out the Longonot extinct volcano which is a strato volcano located southeast of Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley of Kenya. It is thought to have last erupted in the 1860s and its name is derived from the Maasai word Oloonong’ot, meaning “mountains of many spurs” or “steep ridges “.
Drive straight back to the capital and later transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
