The tour company Bellavista Safaris was registered in November 2018 out of an idea of Pietro Averono an Italian who came to Uganda in 1980, just a year after the fall of the Ugandan President Idi Amin Dada. Pietro got involved with culture, politics, environment and the economy of this wonderful country. After his 35 years in Uganda as a technician and as a staff of the Italian Embassy, Pietro felt that tourism was a positive sector for investment and for the preservation of the environment.
