Seven By Far exceeded expectations by far!
From my first contact with Sylvester, I found Seven By Far to be highly responsive in terms of professionalism and communications, as well as also in designing a safari that accommodated my 5-day timeframe and “close to nature” priorities. He quickly developed an itinerary that included Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru, and at an extremely reasonable cost, especially since I was traveling solo. On the day of departure from Nairobi, Sylvester personally introduced me to my guide, Hassan. With over 10 years of guide experience, Hassan highlighted points of interest along the route west from Nairobi, answered my questions about the people and towns we passed, and also allowed quiet time for me to soak up the boundless scenery. By the time we arrived for lunch at PrideInn Mara, I knew I had found a new friend. Over the next few days, Hassan expertly spotted and taught met about the diverse wildlife on the Mara, ranging from elephants to tiny dung beetles, and patiently waited as I soaked up the experience. Highlight moments: a picnic lunch under a lone acacia tree surrounded only by waving grasses and grazing Thomson’s gazelles, with not another LandCruiser in sight, a beautiful drive to the Sand River at the border with Tanzania, and Hassan’s thoughtful explanation of why ancestral lands are fundamental to Kenyan wellbeing as we drove through Narok. Hassan not only took good care of me, but also the many guides who would stop and ask for his local knowledge, the less experienced guide who needed to be pulled out of a sand trap, the truck full of preserve game wardens who needed a better jack as they struggled to fix a flat tire. In short, Hassan is a terrific guide, with a well maintained/equipped vehicle, and a truly kind person - I could not have been more fortunate. I will definitely look forward to seeing him, along with Sylvester, on my next Kenyan adventure. If you are considering a safari, I highly recommend Seven By Far and Sylvester’s team — and be sure ask for Hassan.

My husband and I chose Seven By Far for our honeymoon trip to Kenya, and it was the best decision! We will 100% recommend Seven By Far and its team to everyone.
1. Booking Process.
Sylvester was responsive, diligent, and tailor made our itinerary based on our needs. We could chose the places we wanted to visit and the places we wanted to stay at based on our budget. The process was smooth and got us excited for the trip.
2. Getting Ready for Kenya.
Sylvia again, was responsive, answered all our questions, and made sure we had all our documents in place. We even got our Visa through Seven by Far.
When we landed in Kenya, Sylvia came to visit us and was extremely sweet!
3. Hasan!
Our tour companion, Hasan deserves a separate review. I think our experience was ENHANCED because of him. He is the perfect guy to go on a safari with. He is reliable, supportive, makes sure that you see EVERY wildlife you possibly thought of, and is punctual. On top of that, he is an amazing human being, a great friend, and very knowledgeable so you can have remarkable conversations with him. We recommend him a 100%.
4. The Ride.
Our 4x4 Land Cruiser was a highlight as well. I honestly didn't know it would be THAT comfortable. We drove across Kenya in it and sometimes even 8 hours at a stretch but it was always reliable.
I definitely recommend Seven By Far to anyone who is planning a Safari trip. They will look into all your concerns and make sure you have a comfortable and most importantly safe journey.

I want to express my heartfelt thanks on behalf of my group for the incredible job you did in organizing and executing the Kenya and Tanzania tour highlighting Masai Mara Safari, as well as the 5 days of all-inclusive beach resort at Zanzibar. Our escorted trip was truly unforgettable and exceeded all of my expectations.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and excellent service. The luxury hotels we
ever experienced, with comfortable accommodations, beautiful surroundings, and excellent amenities. The meals were delicious and catered to all dietary requirements, and the transportation was always reliable and comfortable, making every part of the journey enjoyable.
Of course, the highlight of the trip was the Masai Mara Safari game drives. The wildlife we saw was simply incredible, and our guides were extremely knowledgeable, making the experience educational as well as thrilling. I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to witness these majestic creatures up close in their natural habitat. The Sarova Mara game camp was excellent with excellent accommodation and top class meals. Other Sarova accommodations at Nairobi and Mombasa were unparalleled. Arusha hotel was an excellent choice.
And to top it all off, the 5 days of all-inclusive Royal Zanzibar beach resort was the perfect way to unwind and relax after the safari. The resort was stunning, with beautiful beaches, pools, excellent food and drinks, and plenty of daily activities to keep us entertained.
I cannot thank SevenbyFar tours and you enough for the amazing job you and your team did in organizing and executing our 17 days trip. Your attention to detail and dedication to providing the best possible experience for your guests truly showed, and I will be recommending your company to everyone I know.

Our East African adventure. Kenya and Tanzania very safe and welcoming countries. Organised by Sylvester and his team. He was always checking that our itinerary was going to plan and that we were happy. Any problems were dealt with quickly. We saw so much in a short time, including the big five and more. we were able to get really close up to elephants and lions, which surrounded us in our secure jeep. The hot air balloon ride over the Masai Mara was spectacular, and very professionally organised. We saw crocodiles, hippos, and endangered black rhinos. One camp was at the base of Kilimanjaro which is a beautiful site to see. Another was in the centre of the Serengeti, surrounded by wild life. We were protected by Masai warriors who guarded the camps. The food was excellent and plentiful and very fresh. Everybody was extremely friendly. Our trip was well organised, we were cared for by good drivers and guides during the day, and staff and security guards in the lodges and camps at night. Every day was a different experience, after safari we were taken by a short flight to the exotic and historical islands of Zanzibar, where we relaxed in an amazing resort all inclusive. There was lots to see and do there. We did a tour of Stone town, which was included. We also swam with dolphins, snorkelled, and did some jet skiing. On two days we just enjoyed the atmosphere. Then at the end of our trip we were escorted back to Nairobi for our flight home.
