Indigo Safaris are experts in bespoke and group travel in Africa. We know every place that we sell, having lived in South Africa, Zanzibar, and Tanzania, and having travelled extensively in the other countries that we promote. We only work with the best, tried and tested local suppliers, and sell at the same rate as if you contacted them directly. We spend a lot of time visiting our suppliers to make sure delivery standards are maintained and to find new locations for your adventures. Please don't send us an enquiry for a tailor-made tour that has been sent to you by another agent with requests for specific lodges or camps. To ensure maximum client satisfaction, we only use select, hand-picked in each budget range, and there are quite a few properties commonly used by mass market agents that we don't like very much and won't send clients to. If you would like to stay in the best value-for-money places in each price range, by all means send us a quote request.

Fantastic service from Indigo Safaris
We booked accommodation for a 4-day Garden Route drive from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth as well as a 3-day safari in the Eastern Cape (Pumba Reserve) with Indigo Safaris. We had a wonderful trip - accommodation was all top-notch, transfers extremely smooth, the welcome and customer service at each location fantastic - and we couldn't be happier with the service that Matthew at Indigo Safaris provided. He was always prompt to reply, came up with great recommendations and got us a very good deal. We'd be delighted to use Indigo Safaris again if we return to southern Africa.
Friendly and informative - knowledgeable team
Communication with Ines from the start was excellent - we had a call to go through requirements, budget and potential itinerary. She continued to make adjustments to the itinerary throughout - adding in options that were more or less costly depending on our preferences.
On the tour itself, all transfers were seamless and on time.
The only feedback area for the team is to not charge a booking fee for card transactions.

Perfect experience in Namibia, thank you Ines & Indigo Safari!
Namibia has been on my bucket list for years. My girlfriend and I were planning a trip this summer and we were looking for a tour that would cover many of Namibia's highlights (Etosha, Skeleton Coast / Swakopmund, Sossusvlei, etc). I'm very thankful we worked with Indigo and specifically Ines. We ended up going with a 6 day wildlife & dunes tour which hit everything we wanted to see & more, was affordable, and had a truly badass guide (shoutout Tulimo L!).
Ines was super responsive and helpful throughout the booking process. Definitely recommend working with Indigo if you plan on visiting Namibia!
Excellent service, excellent communications
Booked a safari at Rhino Ridge just before the world closed down for Covid.
The ever helpful Ines kept the booking 'live' until the lifting of restrictions allowed us to travel. We were kept updated throughout the 2 years before we were able to actually travel. In the period leading up to our safari, Indigo provided all the details we needed to help make our safari the adventure of a life-time.
Where next?

Full on service providers - No regrets
I have just returned from a dual location safari (Botswana & Zimbabwe) having taken two young children (8 & 11) plus 2 pensioners. You can find cheaper options...but this also has a price! This was a thoroughly professional and well organised schedule with excellent personalised support throughout. Ines was super helpful with suggestions and input. Hotels were brilliant, staff phenomenal and the entire trip super smooth with every detail considered. I would not hesitate to use again.
