Great value, great experience
5/5

We had a great time on safari with Kenya Walking Survivors. Their drivers and guides were very knowledgeable and pleasant to be around. The food was good and filling! It was a good price too. When we talked with a man in Nairobi and told him how much we had paid, he told us to expect a crowded tour bus shared with other tourists. But he was wrong, we had a private tour in a van with a pop up roof and we loved it! Accommodations were very simple and spare, but clean and comfortable. This wasn't one of those luxury safaris you see in movies. But we saw the same animals and it was an unforgettable experience!

Dream come true!
5/5

My wife and I booked a 12 day safari with KWSS and everything was truly amazing

Our guide, Jeffet made the trip worth every penny. He went out of his way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves.

We did have some reservations about using a smaller company and sending our money to Africa, but if you are considering using KWSS, you will not be disappointed!!

Thank you Mr.Otieno for the trip of a lifetime

Outstanding guide, fantastic tour, Amazing number of wild animals &birds, use this company!
5/5

From the very first contact the company was quick in responding to everything. A fourteen day trip F a lifetime. Our driver/guide, Japheth was friendly, and knowledgeable. He knew where to find the animals...rhinoceros, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, hyena, elephants, water buffalo, lions, lionesses, lion cubs, zebras, giraffes, ostrich, wildebeest to name only a few. And, not only once did we see there great mammals, but from one game reserve to another Japheth found these mammals. Mixing some walks along with game drives provided a nice break from long days in our safari vehicle. A boat ride in lake Naivasha drew us close to hippos and birds in the wild. A stay at Elsamere Lodge (think of the movie Born Free and the cub lion Elsa was raised by Joy Adamson) where they served high tea on the lake and colobus monkeys squawked in the trees above us and on the roamed the grounds. Zebras and giraffes wandering though the grounds. Hippos out of the lake in the night to graze on the grass. And, a chance to visit the Sambura tribe, a Maasi tribe, Amboseli, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Nakuru and other game reserves. The owner contacted us frequently to ensure we were happy. He made suggestions for change to itinerary to improve our safari because animals may have migrated and he did not want us to miss anything. We were delighted with the changes. I cannot say e ought good things about this excursion. I highly recommend Kenya Walking Survival Safaris.

Amazing experience and the best person ever Anthony
5/5

I would like to say that this company is the best ever they made me feel like as if I was at home. First our driver David was amazing and relaxed and very respectful we will miss him. Then our chef Moses best cook ever everything was tamusana. Then our tour guide and driver for the rest of the trip Anthony, he was the most respectful, most calm and hardworking person ever. Anthony made us feel like if we were all family, An amazing driver and an amazing person, he truly worked his hardest every day to make us feel like home and make us feel comfortable. We will truly miss Anthony very much and next time we come back to Africa we will book a safari with Kenya walking and ask for David, Moses, and Anthony they are the dream team. Thank you very much Anthony and every one else that worked with us.

This was the best safari I have been on.
5/5

This whole experience has been a wonderful one. The staff was so attentive to us. Anthony our driver was excellent he was nice and was very patient. He is a nice guy to be around and to drive us. David was wonderful as well. The safaris were nice. The nature walk that we did was nice but we were not able to see animals and it was not a walk it was a hike. Maybe you could change the nature walk to another location in Naivasha. Overall it was great.

Excellent Time!
5/5

We had an excellent time at our safari with Kenya Walking. From the moment that I booked the trip, Mr OT was very communicative and responsive to my questions, and did everything that he can to make me feel comfortable about the trip since this is our first time to Africa.

The land and air transports were organized and the hotels were more than we expected. The lodges were comfortable and beautiful. Our driver/guide Jaffet was knowledgeable about the area and the animals in the safari. He had razor-sharp eyes and I can't believe how he saw half of the animals that we saw during the safari! It was obvious that he has a lot of experience and it enabled us to take amazing photos during the trip.

Overall, would highly recommend them and am planning to book with them again when we go back to Africa!

We wanted to use a local company to book a trip. Our main point of contact was Mr Otieno from KWSS who was always quick and prompt on replies.I explained what we wanted on our trip and he provided everything .Their price quote is reasonable and fair.

We booked a 8 Day Safari finally which covered masai mara,Amboseli,Lake nakuru,Bogoria and lake naivasha. We had game drives early morning and late evenings and had great views of the big five, flamingos in lake nakuru,an amazing experience, other kinds of wild life and rare bird species. Thanks to the experienced guide.

I won't hesitate to recommend this locally based company, KWSS for the hard work they put to make your safari amazing

Amazing safari and great people
5/5

My boyfriend and I just came back from our trip to Africa and had an amazing experience, we went into this amazing safari in the Masai Mara from Nairobi which was organized by Kenya Walking Survivors and had some of the most happy times ever. Everything was arranged perfectly, our guide was very friendly and professional, always on time and very knowledgeable of all wildlife, culture and places around. We saw lots of animals and he went the extra mile to ensure we spent as much time as possible game driving and spotting animals.

I can recommend this company 100% to deal with your safaris arrangements as you will not be disappointed.

Excellent service and value
5/5

I contacted Kenya Walking Survivors in short notice and they arranged my safari trip to the Masai Mara from Nairobi, it was a very quick trip but I enjoyed every bit of it, they put me and a very nice lodge and Jaffet the guide was very professional and knowledgeable of wildlife and explain us all, also he was great spotting all animals and taking us close to them to see and watch, the whole experience was fantastic.

I was in constant communication with Mr Otieno who was very professional and friendly, I made my payment in advance and everything was correct and they provided me with a schedule and all was followed and improved if possible as we went.

I can highly recommend this company as I know how hard it can be to be looking for good value and quality safaris in Africa, as I had to make a lot of research and I'm very happy I went with them for my first time and will likely use it again and recommended it to my family and friend when visiting Kenya.
