Four go wild on African adventure and a wonderful time had by all.
5/5

This was a very well organised tour from start to finish and our Guide Twaha had thought of everything. The hotel recommendations were ideal. We were picked up from Cassia Lodge in Kampala with outstanding views over the city and taken to our fabulous upgraded hotel The Pakuba Lodge with its ideal location within the park. The tour was beyond my expectations. We started with a trip to the rhino sanctuary which was awesome, visited Murchison falls up close, enjoyed game drives, a river cruise and chimpanzee trek. Meals, snacks and water were included. Twaha seemed to find genuine pleasure in our delight at the wonders that we experienced and was very knowledgeable. His spoken English was very good and he spent mealtimes with him getting to know each other better. All in all I couldn't recommend the trip enough.

We had a wonderful safari, thanks to Twaha (Wild Jungle Trails)
5/5

Great experience with this agent. The organisation is perfect, everything was clear and ok. They even take care of the safe transport from and to the airport. Twaha, our guide and driver from Wild Jungle Trails was always on time and gave a lot of information. He is a very open and friendly person and could provide us with a lot of interesting information about the culture of Uganda and the different animals during the Safari tour. We had a 3 day safari, visiting Murchinson Falls National Park, Uganda's biggest and oldest National Park in the north-western part next to the Congolese border. There one can really experience Africa as taken from the picture-book: stunning landscapes and a grand wilderness feel, where one instinctively senses that nature has not yet been tamed and wildlife reigns. The outstanding beauty of Murchinson Falls itself, where all the waters of the Nile cascade through a 8-meter wide gorge, is a spectacular sight to visit there. Also the lodges were very nice, good food and beautiful views. Would definitely recommend this agent to anyone planning their Ugandan safari. Wild Jungle Safaris really tried their best to make our trip a memorable one!

A wonderfull, well organised trip with a very experienced guide
5/5

My friend and i made a three day safari to Queen Elisabeth National Park/Murchison Falls. The safari was perfectly organised!
The communication before the trip (fast answers to all questions...) and the service was great!!
Every minute of the safari was perfectly organised (pick up in Kampala, tour itself, breaks and meals...) and I think we had the best guide of Uganda! Twaha is very experienced and can answer all questions.

A guide worth his weight in gold.
5/5

We traveled with Twaha all over Uganda over the summer and had an amazing time. Twaha was invaluable from helping us communicate, finding the best places for authentic food and markets, and navigating tough roads. Even on some of the hairy roadways and cliff side we asked him to take us, Twaha navigated with professionalism and skill. Furthermore, Twaha was helpful explaining local culture as well as finding great local guides for local sights.

Uganda Trip 2017 arranged by Wild Jungle Trails
5/5

I had an outstanding tour of Uganda arranged by Wild Jungle Trails last month ( July 2017). It was a last minute booking and they really went the extra mile to arrange it for me. I contacted two other agencies beforehand and neither was very helpful. Teresa from the tour office went out of her way to allay any concerns I had. She also provided helpful explanations to my numerous questions and made suggestions where her level of expertise was a huge benefit to me. Since I did not have unlimited time (13 days in Uganda) and I wanted to do a lot of things, it was important to plan correctly and we as much as I could. I started off from the Protea Hotel on the shores of Lake Victoria and drove up to Murchison Falls National Park. On the way we stopped at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary ( it's not often you get to stand 60 feet from a mother Rhino and her baby or look over and see 4 rhinos lazing in the shade). Another few hours out us at Murchison Falls an amazing location with so many animals visible that it also still didn't seem real. ( multiple lions, antelopes, elephants, hippos, buffaloes galore. The Falls themselves were great too. From there I went down to the Kibale rainforest to hang out with the chimps ( amazing) and then a boat on the Kazinga Channel and then Ishasha in Queen Elizabeth National Park. ( yes I saw the famous tree climbing lions up close and personal and elephants right outside my tent at the great Ishasha Wilderness Lodge. From there we headed down to Mgazinga National Park and I spent two awesome days hanging out with the Batwas ( pygmies) and the mountain gorillas. Mount Gazings Lodge where I stayed was very nice and very conveneiently located to the trail head for the gorillas. ( unlike what I heard about Bwindi, it was an easy hike to find them). My driver/guide Twa ( Lukwago Twaha) was first class in every way. I spent the entire time with him as he drove me from park to park and acted as guide in many of the locations. He is very experienced and knows all the details about the parks, lodgings and the animals. He has a great sense of humor and we laughed many times over the 12 days I was with him. He really tries to make your experience enjoyable by taking you to the best places to spot wildlife. Because he has so much experience, he knows the other guides and he calls them when out on the game drives and they tell each other where animals are located, so you can drive right over and see them rather than randomly trying to find them. He even saved me from a huge rampaging baboon, haha. (While waiting for a boat trip on the Nile, I foolishly tried to show I thought how to drink from a coke bottle and it went after me. Twa ran at it to distract it so it chased him instead. He ran like lightening to escape its nasty claws. The other guides were there waiting too and they started laughing and yelling " Usain Bolt!" As he flew by with the baboon on his heels. I would give Wild Jungle Safaris a rating of 5 out of a highest possible score of 5 on every level. I did everything I wanted to on the trip and it was much better than I thought it would be. Book with them!

Amazing vacation with Twaha!
5/5

We had the most amazing experience on a two-week trip all around Uganda with Twaha in June. Twaha took such wonderful care of us -- he was an excellent driver, knew where all of our hotels were, found us the best safari guides, and shared so much knowledge about Ugandan food, culture, and wildlife with us. It was a truly fantastic trip in every way possible, and that was in large part thanks to Twaha! Thank you for an unforgettable vacation!

Amazing trip, amazing guide!
5/5

Twaha led our family of 6 on a 12 day tour spanning Jinja, Murchison Falls, Kibale, Bwindi, Lake Buyonyi, and other beautiful stops along the way. Twaha did such an incredible job of making sure our trip went smoothly-- I think he emulates a duck, in that above water he seems calm and relaxed, but you know that below water he's paddling hard to make sure every last detail is sorted out. Add Twaha's incredibly impressive knowledge of Uganda's roads, villages, and traveler accommodations, and you're guaranteed to have a fantastic trip.
