The Spirit of It All !
Me and my wife went for a safari with Spirit of Kenya and it was flawless from the beginning. The customer care promptly answered all our questions and tailor made the tour regarding our wishes.
We did a 6 days tour including Mara, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli and it was out of this world :) Our guide, Charles, is super profissional and friendly, an amazing human being. We learned a lot about Kenya and their habits and a lot about wildlife. This was truly an once in a lifetime adventure and we highly recommend to go with this professional company!!!

Since first email all people was very nice.
During our visit to Nairobi and Masai Mara all people was very nice. All arrangements was made because we have 2 small kids.

Would give 6 stars if I could
Just returned from a 9 day Kenya safari, and it was everything we hoped for and more. Firstly, the customer service was amazing. They were very responsive and helpful in planning and choosing accommodations (which were very nice). They also included pick-up and drop-off at the airport, which we didn't expect.
Charles, our guide, is a great person in general, and an excellent wildlife spotter. He was also a safe driver, which is a high compliment as I don't do well as a rider. How he finds his way around these big reserves is a mystery, but Charles made our safari that much better.
We saw the 'big five' and so much more. It was like watching a documentary live. We highly recommend Spirit of Kenya!

We went on a 8 days safari + 4 days in Diani at the end of August . Since the first email Vanessa and Helder have been very patients, helpful and fast on answering my many mails. Everything was well organized and our guide Steve has been fantastic. Thanks a lot for organizing this wonderful holiday for us !

Everything you would want from an African safari.
I can't recommend Spirit of Kenya enough! I was booking a safari for my honeymoon, and from the start they quickly answered all of my questions and really helped us decide what choices were best for our trip. They picked us up at the airport which was wonderful, and got us to our first destination. Our guide, Simon, was very friendly and knowledgeable, telling us much about the areas we were visiting. He also knew about virtually every animal we saw on safari. We chose the jeep option, which I would also highly recommend. We visited 5 different areas of Kenya, and if you are able I recommend this, because you see very different landscapes and animals throughout. One thing I would also recommend for any safari is to make sure you have some extra money to buy things from the locals, and be ready to haggle. They can be quite persistent! It was the most fun we've ever had and can't wait to go back someday. Spirit of Kenya were a big part of what made this trip so great, they took care of everything, and even got us back to the airport for our flight home. They made the whole trip worry-free, so that all we had to do was sit back and enjoy the beautiful experience.

A dream tour!
Spirit of Kenya , the tour operator cannot be recommended enough. The desk staff were very prompt in their replies. I had some trepidation because of the change in their name in the middle of the tour transaction. But, from our pickup at the airport to our drop ,7 days later , it was the most perfect tour I have been on. Mr. Charles Njeri, our guide was very well informed , cheerful and always ready with an answer about birds, animals and the people of Kenya. He had a keen eye for the elusive beasts , a leopard sleeping high in the branches of some tree in the distance, despite its camouflage, he managed to show us all we had only hoped for. Thanks to him I know that the antelopes , giraffes & zebras come in many types, saw the Big Five! His dedication that we should experience all that Masai Mara offered was very touching. I really enjoyed every part of the tour, the recommended accommodation in our 5 days 4 night's tour were all not only comfortable but ethnically appealing and we were so close to nature and the animals , it felt like being among them but I could continue to have my hot showers! The beauty of Masai Mara was awesome and my photographs of this dream tour along with one of the sunset at Mara will help me relive it many more times. Trip of a Lifetime!
We just finished our African Adventure organized with the amazing help of Vanessa from Spirit of Kenya (It Started in Africa originally). There were a few last minute changes to our accommodations (due to the rebranding of the Company) but we were more than happy with all of the changes. All of the lodges/camps we stayed at were exceptional and although we chose all the camps in Level A (Mid Range), they were all 5 stars to us. Because we were travelling to Tanzania as part of our tour, we had to change drivers and vehicles at the border. This was all well organized and we didn't have to worry about a thing. We had John as our guide for the Masai Mara and he was awesome. He was quiet but he made sure we got the best view of the animals. His driving skills were also incredible as the roads in Kenya are not easy to drive on. For the last leg of our adventure in Amboseli we had Steven for our guide. He was also very knowledgeable and we always felt safe with him at the wheel. Overall it was a trip of a lifetime and we were very happy we chose Spirit of Kenya to organize it for us.

Amazing !!!!!
Me and my family have done a 6 days tour in Amboseli, Lake Naivasha and Mara and it was awesome, we couldn't be happier! From the first email until the last day of the safari, all was a success. Charles, our guide, is a phenomenal person and professional and we learn so much with hi. He really loves his job and his company. All the staff was great and the accommodation in each location was really well chosen. We are happy enough to say to all our friends to go with Spirit of Kenya in their adventure and we will come back for sure!!!
