Amazing!!! Trip of a Lifetime!!
5/5

Our trip was amazing!!! This was the 4th time we have traveled for safari to Africa but our first to Tanzania. From the time we were picked up at the airport by our driver/guide Alladin until it was (sadly) time to go home it was a safari we didn't want to end. We stayed in the three Sopa Lodges in Tanzania; the guest service was wonderful and their employees were so helpful and always friendly. We stayed the first night at Zawadi House in Arusha and was very happy with the accommodations, service and delicious breakfast. We traveled to and had safari at Tarangire NP, Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro Crater, the drives to each place was long and dusty but so worth every minute. Alladin was so good at finding the hidden leopard in the tree and the cheetah mom and her babies hiding in the tall grass. We really enjoyed some of the experiences that Alladin allowed us to enjoy. was just sitting watching the elephants lumber past then cross in front of us or waiting to see if the lioness was going to get her prey, the Reed Impala. Sitting and watching the hippos in their pool; I never knew they acted the way they did. The descent into the crater was amazing, we even saw a black rhino even though he wanted to hide behind the bushes from us, our first ever sighting of a black rhino. There are so many wonderful things we did and saw I would be writing page after page. Alladin was always on time to pick us up for our next adventure. I am so happy to have found E-Trip Africa on SafariBookings, I wouldn't change a thing about our trip to Tanzania; only wish we would have had the time to see more things in Tanzania. We would definitely book another safari with E-Trip Africa if we are ever able to go back. Thank you Alladin and E-Trip Africa for making our Tanzanian trip so amazing!!

Communication and service were top notch!
5/5

I had a group of 23 traveling to Africa that I was planning a vacation for! Before talking to Ben I really didn't know where in Africa I even wanted to go. Ben gave me lots of ideas to research. He spent many hours on the phone with me going back and forth with my thoughts and ideas and his suggestions, The thing with Ben is he has been to all the places, the parks and the tents or hotels so he knew what he was talking about and not just a salesman who wanted my money. I had some ideas that I wanted to run with and Ben was very accommodating to my ideas along with some of his suggestions. We had to plan the trip 20months out because of the size of our group. It was a long wait but then so worth it. Ben and crew picked us up at the airport. We had a total of 4 jeeps and guides,David, Ali, Eli and Dennis. They were all amazing in their own way and felt like family til the end of the 2 weeks. All 4 of them were accommodating to our requests and very helpful. they were also very patient with us! A group of 23 who every day changed which jeep we were in and asking probably the same questions over and over they never got tired of us, never bitter and always smiling from sun up to sun down. Ben and his guides are top notch. You can see it when you are there and the other drivers in the parks weren't as animal smart as ours were or very good drivers. They are very safety orientated and very knowledgeable. We will forever talk about our trip to Africa with E-Trip. They were amazing and don't hesitate to book with them.

Amazing Animal Adventure
5/5

Ben created a fabulous trip for our family. He worked with us in determining the best parks to visit and places to stay--all of which were outstanding! Our driver/guide, Eli, was incredibly knowledgeable and very attentive to our needs. He was diligent in making sure that we had the opportunity to see as many animals as possible. It was a pleasure to spend so much time with him. In addition, eTrip did a great job of making sure that our daughter's dietary restrictions were met at every turn.

Worry-free travel experience from beginning to end!
5/5

The trip was excellent! We didn't have to worry about a thing once we arrived in Nairobi. The only problems arose after eTrip Africa had delivered us to our final hotel, and the problems were with the hotel! eTrip Africa provided us with a congenial, knowledgeable, safe driver who was endlessly patient and accommodating. The member of our party who chose eTrip Africa as the tour organizer let eTrip Africa choose our accommodations, and although the second place was not exactly to our aesthetic taste, they were all actually very nice places to stay, very comfortable, with great staff, excellent food, and stunning settings.

As far as the "safari" parts of our trip, well we sure lucked out, seeing many animals that are exotic to North Americans. The two camps that eTrip Africa arranged for us had excellent sites for viewing African savanna wildlife, and we saw soooo many! However, one couldn't blame eTrip Africa if we hadn't have seen so many. We ran across another tour group that had gone four days in the Maasai Mara Reserve without seeing a wildebeest! Wildlife is wild, and they move around. A lot.

The person who arranged our trip had used eTrip Africa for a previous safari, and chose them again for this trip because it had worked out so well. He is planning to go to Kenya again, and is planning to use eTrip Africa again for the tour.

5/5

From the get-go, E-Trip Africa stood out with amazing communication. Every question was answered so quickly and thoroughly--Ben and Aurelie were very responsive to every email. This was our family's first trip to Africa and E-Trip Africa did not disappoint! Our goal was to see lots of wildlife and we sure did! We would recommend them to any friend wishing to travel to Tanzania.

E-Trip Africa Will Fulfill Your Dreams
5/5

My partner and I recently returned from an awesome safari in Kenya, planned for us by E-trip Africa. Our tour was a private one with a Kenyan guide/driver, Silas, who was with us the entire time. Silas was a wealth of information about the wild life and Kenyan culture, as well as the social, environmental, and political issues of concern to the country and the world. He was a skillful driver and knew the country well. Best of all, he cheerfully adapted to and accommodated our eccentricities. Many thanks to him for his huge contribution to a terrific vacation.

E-trip Africa is a young tour agency based in Tanzania and run by Aurelie Sivadier, Executive Director, and Ben Jennings, General Manager. They are your dream team for planning the trip you want to take to East Africa. We highly recommend them and their company. We told them the number of days we would be there and what our interests were, and Aurelie put together an incredible itinerary for us.

The first leg of our trip took us from Nairobi to the Sweetwaters Tented Camp in Ol Pejeta Conservancy where we stayed for three nights. Rhinos had been at the top of our must-see list. We had followed the sad saga of Sudan, the last northern white male rhino who passed away March 19 of this year at Ol Pejeta, and we were thrilled to find out that we would meet Sudan’s caretakers and the last two northern white females, Najin and Fatu. Our visit with them was surreal...what a privilege! Later, on a “bush walk” with Sudan’s caretakers, we learned about their challenges in protecting all of the rhinos in the conservancy from poachers.

Also while at Sweetwaters, we visited the Endangered Species Enclosure at the Morani Information Center and the sanctuary for abused and orphaned chimpanzees. Kudos to Kenya for their efforts to protect the world’s precious animal resources!

From Sweetwaters we went to Lake Nakuru National Park for three nights and then to Lake Naivasha for two. At Lake Naivasha the Sopa Lodge we stayed in was particularly amazing. The back lawn of our room was open to all manner of wildlife, so when we walked out on our patio we saw zebra, gazelles, giraffes and all manner of gentle animals, some within a few yards of where we sat. I love them all, but the baby giraffe was my favorite!

Also at Lake Naivasha we enjoyed a visit to the Elsamere Centre for Education in Sustainability located at the retirement estate of Joy and George Adamson. Elsamere was named for Elsa, the orphaned lion cub that Joy raised to adulthood and later set free. The book she wrote, Born Free, was very popular in the 1960s and later became a movie. The next day we took a boat ride on the lake, dodging hippos, and ending at Crescent Island where, according to our guide, parts of Born Free and Out of Africa (1980s) were filmed. The island is beautiful and teeming with wildlife, most likely the progeny of the many animals allegedly brought to the island for those films many years ago.

The last leg of our trip took us to the Masai Mara National Reserve, where we enjoyed three beautiful days of incredible sights on safari. The Tanzanian Serengeti becomes the Masai Mara when one crosses into Kenya from Tanzania. We were hoping to see part of the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebra from Tanzania to Kenya that eluded us on our trip to Tanzania in 2017, but because of the heavy rains in these countries this year the natural migration was delayed by several weeks. Missed it again.

On our final day we headed back to Nairobi, up the side of the Great Rift Valley, a huge geological trench that starts in Lebanon, Asia and ends 3700 miles later in Mozambique, Africa. The view across the valley was breath-taking and a fitting culmination to an incredible trip. Thank you E-trip Africa for a unforgettable vacation.
